It's Jeremy Cameron though..... he is what a 3 x Coleman medallist and God knows how many years as club leading golakicker along with a few AA jackets.
I put Cameron in the same bracket as Lynch 2018 basically won us the flag in 2019. Cameron for the cats basically this year. Remains unknown how much value TT will be for us. I'm happy with the deal though as his a definite need in our midfield.

they've lost Brander, Tarranto, deBoer, Hill, Stein, Sproule. And probably Hopper, Bruhn, Callaghan.

Adding these 2 lads really changes the look of the team. What was probably our weakness ( contested footy ) is now a strength. Who benefits the most from adding these 2 guys ? Prestia set to run all day and move away from the contest perhaps ? Outside players like Rioli and short to benefit from the handballs out of traffic ? Dusty to kick 100 goals ?

Slightly disappointed that we didn't get a pick back for giving up 12 & 19.

I reckon what held up the double trade is that we didn't want to trade our 2023 1st rounder. So if it is a player & a pick for Hopper then it would have to be someone decent.

GWS need more outside speed, a number 1 ruck or KPP. So likely to be a player like Soldo, Miller or Hugo.

HRS + 2nd might get the deal done. Would hate to lose Hugo though as he improved a lot in 2022 and still has a really big upside.

Getting Taranto and Hopper let's Dusty stay mostly forward and Bolton to play more forward. On paper a starting/rotating midfield of Cotch, Meatball Taranto, Hopper, Sonsie, Ross and Graham and we've gone from rags to riches. Plus this lets us play Bakes and Shorty in their correct positions down back and running off the flanks for maximum impact. To get Hopper we have to give GWS our pick 30 and mostly likely a player. Don't know who but I reckon we have to keep Soldo as backup for Nank despite Miller really improving as a backup ruck towards the end of the year. And for God's sake Dimma please keep Balta and Gibcus down back. Long term pillars of our defence for the next few years.
