Docherty reminds me more of Tuohy to be honest. Solid, loves a run, booming right foot kick. Will be a good pair of bookends down back.

Excellent get for Carlton. He looks like a strong well built kid who can move, use the footy, tackle and is ready to go and we got him cheap. It will have an astounding influence to the structure and quality of our team with he and Thomas in. All of a sudden we are two or three midfield rotation players up on last year with Thomas coming in and Docherty becoming a midfield rotation player and/or allowing someone like Walker to play on the opposite half forward flank to Thomas and run through the midfield at times too. This might be all the difference with those games where we petered out and threw away leads like the games against Collingwood, Essendon, Hawthorn and Geelong.
Good luck fella, always good to see a bloke get to play for the team he barracked for, always good to see Carlton pick up young talent! He's the type we need.
