Huge mistake? He was taken with a round 4 rookie draft pick. Who else available at that pick would have been a better recruit?

Huge mistake? You sure you got the right definition for huge
Still it is a bit of a stop the presses moment. Can you believe player picked late in the rookie draft looks like he won't make it. Rookies are for young kids and players like Barlow or Pods who get late chances. Dwyer would fit that bill and was serviceable for us. It's impossible for all players to make it, there are not enough spots. Every club has to have guys who get delisted without playing.
Tambling, Danny Roach, Chris Egan could fit the description, Tim Golds definitely not
