And yes, I know it’s super early days but if you did a redraft of Chapman’s and O’Driss draft year there’s not many I would take before Heath, certainly not Will Phillips but that’s a given.
Top 3 atm for sure.

Completely bias but there is not one player I would think about taking before Chapman, his floor, barring injury is AA defender, his ceiling is top 5 generational talent. There is no one else in that draft that currently has that IMO

Yeah but his ceiling is basically Chapmans floor (AA backman). What sets Chapman apart (in my own headcanon anyway) is that he has midfield potential. If he gets into the midfield successfully the league is ****ed

Big call. However, going through the list I would take him first. Given our list McDonald would also be tempting.
You and I have been very bullish on him. And what he is showing on a weekly basis only justifies that stance.
We have a lot of very good young players. A couple already established as stars or close to it (Brayshaw, Darcy). I expect Chappy to reach their level at a minimum and both of those are still a few years away from their prime.

Bit more limited scope for improvement then the other three IMO but he'll play a lot of games and be a great talent
Keen to see how McDonald goes now that Buddy is out. Seems to play better when he’s the focal point.
Perkins playing half forward to I think?

I was on the absurd Chapman hype train before it was cool.
We have a bunch of young stars now that make you do something no Freo player ever before bar Pav could do; they make you feel safe.
