Yep great crop. Our drafting since 2016 overall has been very goodEarly days but that Draft starting to look pretty special.

Which is good because earlier than that it makes for some dire reading.Yep great crop. Our drafting since 2016 overall has been very good
I think we had too many defenders trying to play loose and intercept kicks in our first few games. Our defence now has a better balance of attack and defence. That's why I think playing Chappy on a wing and then rotating him back when Young or Ryan are on the bench is an idea worth considering.A bit forgotten in rehab. I still have high hopes for Chappy.
Part of that is hoping we can start to be played up the ground and rotate between wing and back. I think he is under utilised in the backline as it is currently made up.
Put him in the middle with his increased size, evasion and skills. Maybe at some of the contests Jackson is on the bench or forward.
IMO he is to talented to leave in the back half unless they move clark or Young to the midfield and he is played in their role.
Hughes is playing his position until he's back. 3rd tall down back and rotation to a wingI think we had too many defenders trying to play loose and intercept kicks in our first few games. I find myself checking the injury list every couple of weeks to see where he's at. Seems like a particularly bad hammy but I trust Merriman to get it right. Speaking of who, we should be throwing the guy a 5 year contract, doing a great jobA bit forgotten in rehab. I still have high hopes for Chappy.
2018 isnt bad....We picked a pretty good time to bottom out. Such a shame we couldn't make 2018 count with the strong hand we had but at least we nailed the other 5 drafts.
Actually I think they are concerned about the back to back injuries and have put him on a strength program to ensure he breaks the run of strains. So he possibly could have returned sooner under a different rehab program.I find myself checking the injury list every couple of weeks to see where he's at. I tore my hammy clean off at 46 doing the splits 2 years later and it feels 100%
Chappy will be fine now that Webber is no longer around with his voodoo medicine
No current season stats available
it's great to have that luxuryActually I think they are concerned about the back to back injuries and have put him on a strength program to ensure he breaks the run of strains. So he possibly could have returned sooner under a different rehab program.
Great to see them prioritising long term health and fitness over rushing players back only for them to get reinjured.
I'd forgotten about his previous injury TBH, was it a back or soft tissue I can't remember? Either way agree that long term health and fitness is the wayActually I think they are concerned about the back to back injuries and have put him on a strength program to ensure he breaks the run of strains. He's ready to claim his spot as Ruck Rover, Bontempelli style.I am not sure what his best spot will be - but I am certain he has a tonne of talent. Looking forward to him getting a few games in the back half of the season.
His first 10-12 games were absolutely superb. Since then he's had a ton of injuries that have slowed his progression but the talent is still there. Here's a reminder of some of the things he can do.He's a gun. He has missed a bit of footy but he has the tools to be A grade
