Considering Hawkins debuted as a hugely developed junior into a strong Geelong side, the fact that Treacy’s stats compare (and are out performing in many stats) with him at a same age is crazy!

Basically gifted Geelong those flags.

Hawkins had massive question marks over him until late 2011, after being drafted in 2006. They even trialled him as a ruckman for a period. He was quite close to being a bust.
