This week:

JUH - 8 disposals, 0 goals
Thilthorpe - 11 disposals, 0 goals
L. McDonald - 12 disposals, 1 goal
Amiss - 10 disposals, 1 goal
Cadman - 3 disposals, 0 goals (subbed out at 3QT)

Hopefully this can provide a bit of context. He's not going as bad as he's made out to be. Especially since at AFL level he's played mostly as a lockdown defender.
As context to people referring to the 0-0-0 at half time stat, last week in the Suns game, was keeping an eye on Rowell(just to see where he is on teh Suns pecking order and we can get in his ear).

he had 3-4 disposals at half time, could easily have been subbed off from stats view & not much visible. Then had a very good 2nd half & visible impact on the game.

I understand why he was subbed as Sam had to pick out someone but IMO he was having an impact as 1 defender was being dragged off and Lewis was able to take marks and score goals.

it's not a longshot at all.
He looks a natural FF and is putting up the results of an elite 21 y.o. KPF.
He just needs time in the seniors.

I agree, I think he will make it as a fwd and over time be a capable defender and play the Gunston role for us.

Was at a function prior to the Collingwood game, and Luke McCabe spoke.

He was asked a question about trades and there appeared to be little/no appetite to trading DGB.

He reads the ball well, has talent and played well on the weekend and did his job. Could be a great swing man.

I'm sticking with him, love his aggressive attitude.

His growth this year has still been huge, some may not see it but his come a long way. Players with his energy are rare

and he played the whole game out, didn't look like he was gasping for breath. Competed throughout.
He looks fast on the stride, his an odd size, long arms plays tall but runs small, looks like he will provide great pressure and defensive minded forward to, chance he can be a swingman for us but our backline may be to stacked to matter

could someone provide a summary of his performance from the weekend?
Provided solid link up play by leading up the ground and using his footskills to our advantage. Took one contested mark and converted the set shot. Had another set shot from the boundary which missed. Also gave one off to Amon when he could have had a second set shot from the boundary. Overall I thought it was a really positive outing from Denver. He has elite AFL standard traits which I think is the reason why a lot of us get frustrated that it hasn't quite come together for him yet.

Thought he had a solid game. Nothing outstanding, but didn’t look out of place at all.

I think he’s building.
I thought his first half was exceptional, streamed up to meet the ball and then provided run into the 50, specially the first quarter when the team as a whole hadn't clicked.

Liam Jones is the Bulldogs best key defender by far and I thought DGB broke even with him. Big stride forward in his development this game.

Courageous mark to kick the sealer. In time he will start holding more marks reminds me of early days Sic.

He is playing with flair and confidence which is great it shows he is turning the corner. Clearly loved by the group.

Great one grab hands. Nice penetrating kick really he should shadow Sic all summer as his understudy. A season playing next to him too would be valuable.

Agree.
Time to move Sicily forward!!!

I was at the game Sunday. From my perspective of him he was attacking most of the day, trying to present and provide an option.

I think back to Roughy’s time, where to begin with he was started in the back line, was moved forward, then having stretches in the midfield/Ruck. I can see DGB having a similar trajectory once his fitness improves, and will become a very versatile and important player for us.
