I don't wanna get over excited by highlights but that first goal on the run from 50 where he pins the ears back goes for goal is something we haven't seen any of our mids do with the exception of İssie for the last few years often enough,, if he can bring that into the seniors then we have a beauty!
Our mids get the ball enough but are NOT dangerous frwd of centre.
Welcome to the Mighty Hawks young man.

And those are just the tackles recorded, he is a machine! Seriously impressive statline for someone travelling 2 hours each way to training twice a week and then backing it up on game day

... in his first year after missing last years footy...

It's a pretty sad indictment on our list that he would be the best midfield prospect we have on the list U21. Need to go and get some class at this year's draft but this guy could be a great find as someone who can beast it out of packs to the runners off HB. Do yourself a favour and checkout the highlights video put out by HFC... There is a play against carlton, where he picks it up at the stoppage, is getting tackled front and back and flicks a handball pretty much over his head to a BHH player on the fat side of the stoppage. The vision and execution screamed A grade. I think this is what smitchell was keen to work with

Pretty sure Day is ahead of him, but super excited about Jai's addition to the team :thumbsu:

Yeah great point, he looks like he has really good game awareness and vision. There’s a centre bounce in the Carlton game where he has an opponent holding his arm so instead of taking posession of the ball and getting tackled he identifies a wedge of space and knocks the ball into that space so that he can separate from his opponent before gathering the ball for a centre clearance. It just screamed of footy IQ.

Great selection , has a lot of attributes we are really missing and desperately need.
Looks to have decent scope to improve too .

On a winner here .

For sure. If he was missing the rep teams growing up, could mean he hasn’t gotten as much quality coaching as others his age and he still tore it up in the VFL. Lots to like here

I've already opened a book on how long it takes Clarko to conflate his name with Jeka's and create some kind of tennis glory era painful dad joke pun.

With him as the cockroach it's inevitable.

The spread is very much sitting bang on the dolly of his very next press conference.
