hilly82 prior to Matt choosing the Hawks did Sam Mitchell being the coach have any pull in his decision? I know Sam still has a great relationship with cousin Brad and even with the ongoing court drama with Cyril as well.
I thought Cyril didn’t have contact with any of his former teammates?

Hopefully he still gets in touch with Sam

Sensational suff, Hilly, thanks for all the insight!

A few more to ask;
Is he good on both feet?
How good are his skills?
Does he take the game on with running bounces?
Runs in straight lines or good lateral vision?
How good are his evasive skills?
One touch grab/good mark?
Which player does he liken or aspire himself to? Or who would you liken him to?
Don't forget, check his teeth.

Already has a nice kicking action with the ball drop …… wants to have a crack in the midfield 😊

Love that he was playing centre most of this year. Would be great if he can make it as an outside midfielder if he has the tank for it - he certainly wouldn’t have the tag of only running one way with his background.

I know the Indigenous footy families are all quite linked, but Hill, Garlett and Kickett is as good a stock as it gets - except maybe Long and Rioli!
Buddy Franklin is off the same lineage with his Garlett and Kickett families on Buddys mothers side so I'd say possibly the highest of pedigree.. only my inside perspective though.. Many more Noongar AFL past players carry the same links and have the rich pedigree also.

As much as I hate South Fremantle (East Freo boy here), Stephen Michael was something special as well.

20 years old, years of physical/body conditioning in a professional set-up, played many years as a junior, extreme pace and athleticism...

There is such massive upside here for such a speculative list space...

I wonder if donations made to the Storm youth development program, be counted in the soft cap?
