Does he even need to?I always likened him to the skinny early version Fyfe, and now he’s started to play like him in the middle without the bulk.
Can he add another 5-8kgs over summer?
Agree. A couple more would be ample.Does he even need to?
He is doing everything required of him in the guts and maintains excellent mobility for a tall guy.
He will get stronger as he gets older, but I don't see the need for him to put on 5-8kgs at all.
That's a lot of weight.

He's doing what he needs to do, at his current weight.
I see him getting to 92kg. Adding 5-6 kg further weight to his legs and hips won't slow him down too much. Bont is 96kg and has only gotten faster.Does he even need to?

Imagine weddle running through also!I see him getting to 92kg. Adding 5-6 kg further weight to his legs and hips won't slow him down too much. Bont is 96kg and has only gotten faster.
We are building a monster midfield. Nash at 198/94, Duke at 187/92, Worps at 186/86 and Day already at 192/86. How many other midfields can compare to that. Frenchie isn't small either, he's 188.
Day will be the Crown Jewel to our midfield. I don't see how others will compete with his running ability, core strength and his aerial capabilities.
I see Weddle and McDonald being those hybrid midfielders. Where they pinch hit and run forward, similar to how we used Roughie and Silk to an extent.Imagine weddle running through also!
Needs to work on his set shots
I could do that by the end of this month without even having to leave the couch! Should be a breeze for him.I always likened him to the skinny early version Fyfe, and now he’s started to play like him in the middle without the bulk.

Yes, but you're a master of spuds. Will would be more like spudrookie.I could do that by the end of this month without even having to leave the couch! Should be a breeze for him.
Plays exactly as Hird used to.When Day picked up that loose ball in the centre at full speed clean as a whistle did anyone else get a James Hird at his best flashback? To me Day has a fair bit of Hird in his game style and a bit of Scotty Pendelbury in the way he moves. I declare he'll end up better than both!
As his core strength develops, his kicking efficiency will improve. Love watching him and he has all the attributes of a top notcher. Future leader of the club.Plays exactly as Hird used to.
What Hird was so good at is what Day is so good at as well, one touch ball handling.Plays exactly as Hird used to.
It's also the vision and decision making. Stuff you can't teach. What Hird was so good at is what Day is so good at as well, one touch ball handling.
Sicily has it as well, it's what separates the truely elite players from the pack.
Especially if it’s from burgers and fries and distributed around the middle, I’m absolutely with you on this.Does he even need to?

Would you rather we compare him to Dunstall?Of all the players to compare a Hawk to, you guys choose a disgraced drug cheat.
I know, even if I could see a resemblance, I'd never go there. Horrible thing to do to a kid.Of all the players to compare a Hawk to, you guys choose a disgraced drug cheat.
I’d rather compare him to just about any free wheeling mid that has ever existed.Would you rather we compare him to Dunstall?
