In the first training report I ever did on here on the last training session before Xmas I made mention that Frenchie was the player that most stood out for me on that day.

The way he runs, moves, kicks off one step, being a blonde ……. he reminds me a lot of our coach in his playing days but a bigger version! Surely Mitch told MM to choose him with our first pick no matter what

I wanted a mid who can kick. We got a mid who can kick!

If he was pick 1, you'd still be happy with that output! Lock for round 1.

Very high footy IQ as well as the obvious skill people have already spoken about

Several times he made sure to hold the ball until the last second drawing in opposition players

Always tried handballing out in front of players allowing them to catch the ball on the move.

It is a pre season game and the intensity was not overly high but you could not have asked for more from a kid in his first hit out

That play, especially the way he kicks the footy reminds me sooo much of our coach. It's so good to watch.

Let's not underestimate MM please. Multiple times over the journey we have all had differing opinions on who we should pick and MM has come through in spades.

Will give Sam credit for the Weddle request. But MM full accolades for getting it done.

I love this for the simplicity. Literally just says ok I’m going straight line towards goal now and Mitchell and Adams are completely wrong footed. Very Pendlebury like
