Not sure what to make of this game.

Grundy 8 clearances Jordan 0.

Grundy 32 hit outs Jordan 22.

Ollie and Jason demolished the Swans mids though so lack of clearances a non issue I guess?

Looked better around the ground than previous weeks though.

Gawn next.

Pete Ladhams grew up a big port fan as well but look how he ended up.

What separates Sweet from Ladhams is you can tell he's given his all and grinded out the hard yards.

Party Pete has the hairstyle of an 80s pr0n star! I’m sure he is loving the Sydney vibes… can see him doing lines of coke with hipster Grundy…

It didn't feel like that at all watching the game.

Sweet has only played 22 AFL games, with 11 of those being with us this year. Still raw when it comes to AFL experience. Like Soldo, is quite good at getting the hit outs and hit outs to advantage. Around the ground, still is a deficiency for us and is slightly shaded by Soldo. Consistency for an inexperienced player may become a factor. But he seems to be building with more experience, wants to give a reason not to be replaced by Soldo and better than what we have had in recent years.

Anyway, I am pleasantly surprised.

Edit: at this stage, he still is, at best, an average lead ruck.
