Beinke was brilliant in the Maggies GF win over Sturt in 1998, he kicked some sensational clutch goals in the 2nd half of that game.

Now that the SANFL is somewhat compromised and has dwindled away without the real Port Adelaide, it doesn't seem to produce the quality of player it once did. Port and the Crows don't do so well out of the SANFL as well as the Crows did initially.

If you look back at the 70's, 80's & 90's the amount of players that went on to play VFL & AFL compared to today. Port alone provide so many.
