One if his videos he said he was put into the middle on Harvey Langford and beat him a few times in the contest. The fact he can do that and play either end of the ground is really promising.

I feel he was selected as a Dougal Howard replacement in the future.

Had quite a bit of adversity to overcome and i wish him well. Hope he makes it.

I think you're spot on. He played for the Essendon VFL in July against Sandy. In an earlier video he said that he played on Matt Allison and Keeler. They were both kept goalless that day so he mustn't have done too bad against some much more mature players. I think we've got our next FB here.

Put this in the draft thread but should be here too.

I know it's been mentioned but James Barrat rolling in with the first 2/3 of an 80's fast bowler pr0n-stache at age 17 is just elite.

There's fully grown men in the AFL that would be intimidated by this.

Looking at you Darcy Moore...

Don't go looking at Darcy Moore, you'll bruise him

He speaks very well and sounds like a great kid. He's a tough one after all he's gone through at such a young age.
Sounds like he’s very resilient.
He’s come to the right club.
Hopefully both his and our resilience will be rewarded sooner rather than later.

Welcome James. Happy to have you aboard.

We've had a horrendous run with drafting key defenders but I'm excited by what this kid/manchild might produce, even early on.

Reads it well and has a nice shoe. Feel like he could get good exposure at the top level.

He looks very mature. Just 18? Reminds me when I was playing U16’s rep cricket and a few of the opposition would arrive driving their cars. And had 5 o’clock shadows…..

Love the fact that they say he has a bit of mongrel. Don’t want choirboys. Good solid competitors.
