Looks like a player to me. He reminds me of lewis young but a better kick and a more assertive.

Only real negative is that he looks a bit lost when the ball hits the ground which will get better with time and once he learns the structures.

Plenty to work with.
 
How tall is he? I didn’t realise he was genuine key defender height. I assumed he was an Easton Wood type.
 
I always keep a lid on things and never get ahead of myself but will O’Donnell be the first Category B rookie to win the Brownlow?
Might even do it this year.

The real unknown is what upside and rate of improvement does he have having not played for so long. Certainly showing more than Charlie Parker did returning to AFL.
It’s just a weird concept really, bring a bloke who you’ve never ever seen play a game before down to training, I guess run him through some athleticism tests and some skill drills and then decide yep let’s put him on an AFL list
 
Is he an interceptor or more of a lock down defender? Keen to see how he goes as I don't remember ever having a decent cat b
