After weeks of haggling with Richmond for this fabled goal kicker from a champion club, we have really pulled off a coup by transforming Sam Lloyd from a Tiger to a stripey dog. Welcome to Whitten Oval, our 2019 leading goal kicker.

Coming in for the bargain basement price of pick 64, cue the chorus of "Sam Power has been bent over, we should have given up pick 148 instead".

I thought that too but another poster has advised that you don't need picks only open list spots. So not sure why we didn't use Pick 82 and keep the points for West.

Kicked 100 goals as a midfielder in a season at Deniliquin. The went to Frankston in the VFL where he won the VFL goal kicking award. He's a footballer's footballer - just didn't have the athletic traits to make it in a team where the game plan was based on speed.
