Delistunsighted in the last
They do love their made up criteria that never existed before but works for them in a very specific case then never again
Hope he keeps it up but his position is quite feast or famine and will be harder than most if our midfield churns out games like they did v SunsSmall sample size but his averages are going well.
Very comparable to last years rising star who played a similar position. Even if his was a Bradbury winView attachment 2259669
I know what you mean. If his trajectory continues this way, I see him as one of the best in the comp at some stage in his career...he's been that impressive. I hope we as fans are aware that as a young player he's not always going to put a shift like that in...but damn...it's so nice to see a classy, skillful, high possession goal kicking winger in our side after years of sacrificial running and "the gimp wing".I've watched a lot of this game and I can tell you this kid moves the right way. It's hard to elaborate, but sometimes you can watch someone with ball in hand and tell instantly if they're going to make it.
The fact he has a tank already is extremely positive and with some kgs that comes naturally we have a star on our hands. Love the kid!!

Now, who makes the other wing their own I wonder?
I'd absolutely love to see Whopper get an extended run. Make it so, MC Qualter.Harvey Johnston
Just as talented as Tyrell and can kick off both feet
The wings under simmo were for guarding space or for Darling to provide an outlet kick from defence which would inevitably be lost or punched out of boundsAnd just having someone looking to be a weapon on the wing instead of guarding space is bloody refreshing.
Loved Simmo, but the wing became an absolute elephants' graveyard by the end of his stint.
This is 100% how they operate.I wasn't even joking about him being too obscure. I don't think his name would even be on their list. It won't be until some fans or media personalities fire up and mention him that it will make them take notice. Then they will probably feel bad and give him a pity nomination for an average game.
Scotty Cummings wins Coleman but they give AA FF to Lloyd coz Cumming wasnt suited to International Rules is the WORST one I've ever seen. They do love their made up criteria that never existed before but works for them in a very specific case then never again
Just as talented as Dewar that's a huge call. I'd love for that to be true. Surely Hamish Davis will be knocking down the door for the other wing spot as well. What luxury to have options!Harvey Johnston

And he will probably get that RS Nom in a lesser game knowing the experts who pick it.Had 6 kicks for 200m gained in the third when we had 7 scoring shots but yes unsighted in the last when the Lions had 57% of time in possession compared to our 27%.
I can see how AFL would trawl through for something to justify awarding it elsewhere, but if Tyrell keeps up this form and the Twitter campaign kicks off they won't have much choice.
He's our diamond in the rough pick. If the 2022 draft just results in Ginbey, Hewett and Dewar that is one very good draft.
They gave the Rising Star nom to O’Sullivan from Geelong
Maybe Dewar has to wait until all the vAFL media favourites have been nominated. And he will probably get that RS Nom in a lesser game knowing the experts who pick it.
