Toast Welcome Will Brodie

C'mon now....this has to be because of ME! Lol....I'm not getting big-headed I promise, but I did say (totally in jest) that Amber should do a compilation of Brodie handballs. FMD, I best put me pants back on before the missus comes in
Well I am of the opinion that someone read that and made the request on your behalf. Just a theory 🤔🤔

He's the best. Lachie Neale is a better player, but nobody has hands like Brodie.

He's better than Barlow.

What a God with those hands he is.

For the love of God I hope the return of Fyfe complements rather than stifles him. I don't want to see Fyfe run through the middle only to get pulled down by 4-5 players, he needs to receive it from Brodie.
I can't believe how good he is in space too now. His kicking is way better than I expected. Plus he seems quick over 10 metres from a contest and then still not great over distance. All that means now to me now is that we have an outstanding player with room for improvement still.

I have a feeling that it's about to get insane. I've already bought 30 pairs of new undies and all of them are white

You can thank Sarn_Katich for the request. She asks politely and Amber delivers! What a pair of legends! Apparently (so I’ve heard from the ether) the request was made specifically to be placed in this exact thread, on this exact board, on these exact forums. How did Sarn know? And Amber is a genius, a purple angel sent from above! 💜😇
Sarn_Katich seems like a ripping lass

Ahhhh, well. That's very nice of her. Hopefully I have enough wisdom to show eternal gratitude ;)
I’ll be sure to chuck it out into the ether and see if she gets the message. I mean, I don’t know her personally, but I’ve heard things.

Serious question. He’s only 23 - how good was Neale at 23? Was he better?
With another 2-3 years development, and actual games in a decent team, how good can he get?

stop it already, we all know I have a man crush the size of King Kong goolies.

This is getting dangerous, I might need to go on one of those spa retreat weekends where they massage your toes and paint them a nice shocking pink whilst they're at it............

Best thing about these highlights aside from Brodie's lightning hands is the clip of Mundy beautifully outpointing Jackson in the ruck.
I laughed my arse off when that happened, he hasn’t forgotten the ruck touch from when he used to do a ton of 3rd man up

Few Christmas 100x100's with the boys and look out.

The belief this season is going to give Brodie will be huge. It's not just a hope and dream anymore. He's a best 22 midfielder in top 4 team.

The man crush is real

For me, I feel his overall output will drop off with Fyfe returning, simply due to time in the middle for both and time on ground as a midfield team will have to adjust

I don't. I think they'll go insane, could ultimately be what wins us a cup - Fyfe can also rotate forward with his awesome marking prowess and aerial threats, and hopefully has learnt to kick straight! I can't wait to see him in, he lifts everyone an extra 5% minimum - Brayshaw knows, he talked about it the other week. Of course he has to find match fitness and form, so not expecting miracles straight off the bat but Fyfe is Fyfe, the consummate professional and driven competitor. We'll have to wait and see. Exciting times ahead :D

Just a gentle reminder that this kid has only played 36 games…. 36 games!!

To put that into perspective, Serong has already played 45 games.
Jarrod Berry (from the same draft class) has played 96!

Brodie really is only scratching the surface of how good he can really be.
