It's ******* hilarious.

To think some actually believe it.... Gob smacked.
Sorry forgot everyone should just follow the crowd and demand everyone at the club gets sacked.

Hardwick won't win us a flag. Looks like the spin doctors at Punt Rd are doing a great job though. :thumbsu:

I hear you but I'm not sure all of his record shows this. I was thinking of the his record of coaching against top 8 teams. Without looking at the stats Dimma seems to be able to get the players up and playing well enough to beat top 8-top 4 teams. I know it's part of the coaches roll to get the team performing consistently. My point is I suppose that he has shown himself (Dimma) capable and has not made a secret of the idea that both players and coaches continue to learn and develop.

You are going to cop a lot of heat on this thread because the haters have traction because we lost a few games.

When we win some they will disappear for months on end - just like last year - because it completely blew up in their faces.

Right now the haters feel vindicated but few have any class about it. I guess it's the nature of anonymity and the internet.

I'm not happy where we are at but sacking is an old game that doesn't have the runs on the board.

Can't agree enough with this....

He has shown he is capable, but there comes a point were you have to ask can he take us to a flag? I want Richmond to win flags, period. I cannot see him taking us there. That being the case I'd like to see him see out the year, which has been a disgrace so far and moved on.

What crowd there was hardly anyone there last night.

They reported 50k last night? A crowd but not big by our standards I'll admit....

Agree a flag is the goal. But I'm not convinced that Dimma is definitely not capable? I listened to Peggy on the the clubs site and she made a lot of sense. She was measured and thoughtful. She made it clear that the club was not going to buy into the media reports on the club. Also saying that it is simplistic to think that winning has a single cause. As is the case with losing. Also it seems to me that Dimma has the full support of the players. If the players and admin are backing him? Then he still has my support.... Also the question arises, who would be a better fit at this stage?

I think people don't understand why I think we're on the right path. It has nothing to do with wins and losses, it has to do with the selection of the side, the way we're trying to structure up the team and the way we're backing kids to keep playing over older types we could easily have turned to given the desire by most to have us getting back to winning games. But let me ask what is more important to our future, winning games with the older not quite up to it types playing or using this opportunity to put games into the kids and letting results take care of themselves. As I mentioned in my review of the game, I expected us to lose last night, in fact I tipped us to go down by 50 points. What I didn't expect was the change in game plan, we went forwards a lot more than we did sideways or backwards. We tried a few things with young players in different positions. Then there were the flashes here and there of what kids like Menadue C.Ellis Short Rioli & George can produce as they develop. Tigga in the guts was a sight for sore eyes, hopefully that continues moving forward.

The off field stuff regarding changes to personnel will take care of themselves, assistants/recruiters/fitness staff will be reviewed and decisions made on their futures, so I am #ECO when it comes to them. What I am enjoying seeing as I said is the glimpses of the future, I urge everyone who continues to go to games to go looking at them instead of worrying about all the other stuff, all it does is just spoil your time at the game.

That's great. If dimma wants to blood the kids that Is fine. BUT FIRST he needs to stop playing spuds and favs that won't be or should not be there next year. .time to think about the future 2016 IS OVER DIMMA. CONVINCE us that you can coach by playing the kids getting games into the kids. And seeing if these kids are or are not afl standard.

Said it before you can't just give games to young players because they are young. They need to earn their spot otherwise you just reinforce that mediocrity is rewarded.

So what did rioli Menadue and cellis do to earn there spots in round 1 ?

You can if the senior players they are replacing are CRAP AND DON'T GIVE A SHIT5

And what about the mediocrity we see in the seniors every week
Problem is dimma does not have the balls to drop players he had to many favorite players. And is so ****ing dillusional he thinks we can still make finals

So they were the only 3?

Pretty much :p

But seriously Menadue had a very good pre-season.... I think he needs a rest now but certainly earned his spot. Rioli a bit luckier but due to playing a spot where we have no depth, he was lucky enough to get a run... he will improve and get stronger but we do need to get the games into him as well...

Earned them with solid NAB games.

So you have a player who gets 4 possessions in the VFL you don't reward them with selection in the AFL side.
