What does the lay mean? How does it work?

Lay Bulldogs means Im effectively Back West Coast to win

So Bulldogs are 1.10. If I lay $100 at odds of 1.10 on Bulldogs ( I think West Coast will win)

My position would be -$10 Bulldogs/+$100 West Coast

Say for the Cricket Australia are 1.12 to Back, 1.13 to Lay

If you think Australia will not win (you think Draw or England win will occur) you could have a position of -13 Australia/+100 Draw/+100 England

So basically you win what the total amount you bet, and just lose the odds for Bulldogs to win.

Eagles 41 points in front with 7 mins to go in the 2nd quarter.

So did anyone take those odds? :D:D

This result really opens the door for the Crows to pinch an top 4 spot, this is an appalling performance by the Doggies, whom we can almost describe as 'flat track bullies' now ...

Lets have a look at the run home for the Dogs - Brisbane (at the gabba), Geelong and Collingwood ...

Oh dear :D
