Several players couldn’t move him. Seems like a nice guy, god help people if he actually got angry.
Looks bullshit strong.

While Merrett deserved everything he got Nic Nat is super lucky to not get a week with the MRP lottery.

No injury no suspension that's just how the MRP works! Had Merrett been injured in any way (eg concussed) then obviously Nic would have gone. It seems the resultant damage is the key to players being suspended which was why NcGovern went early in the year as Guelfi sustained an injury.

You'll go a long way to find a worse behaved crowd than that in Perth.

Clearly, you've never been behind the goals or, in the heavens at the MCG when the Pies, Carlton and Richmond are playing!

Punches get thrown there so often that many families will only sit in certain sections of the ground when supporters of the those teams are in attendance.

You really need to look around in your backyard before having an empty headed crack at Perth crowds.

Eagles crowd at Optus is great ,good family friendly fun. Now and then you get an aggressive mouthy spitting Eastern Stater that tries something on and the security are more interested in making sure no one steps across the line near the wheelchair section then anything but its fine.
Nothing like the type of stuff you get over east happens here .No idea why they think like they do but who cares.

Bullsh1t.

Have a read of the following. And note that some of it involves Pies fans. WCE fans are too fearful of spilling their Chardonnay to get involved in anything like that!!

And you go on about the Perth crowd? o_O

Uh huh. My opinion has nothing to do with being a Freo supporter, mate.

Natanui is very fortunate that Merrett wasn't actually injured - could've suffered catastrophic head or neck injuries. It's a worry that Nic Nat displayed no self-control when reacting to annoying but harmless provocation.

It's a familiar story in our society. As I said, our courts, prisons and hospitals are full of tragic stories and broken lives where things just 'got a bit out of hand'.

I rarely agree with a Freo fan but you have made some good points there. Far too much violence in society generally. Nic Nat should have displayed more control than that - so many kids watch him and try to emulate him. Imagine the difference to the kids if NN would have simply said to Merrett - "... pulling hair now ... really mate" and then walked away.

These guys are trained by sports psychologists to resist being provoked by competitors and fans etc.

The expectations are higher on these guys for many reasons.

And as for the comments from Cameron Ling - well ... really ... Lingy?

Nic Nat should of got 2-3 for trying to break Amon's neck, instead got 1.

McGovern should of got 2 for trying to break the plastic chair, instead got 1.

Gaff should of got 10-12 for destroying Brayshaws jaw and teeth instead got 9

Christian has been very leniant it just doesn't look that way to you because you can't look at it objectively without bias.

Mate Freo season is well and truly over - hop on your bike and peddle down to Cockburn.

You guys really have to cease obsessing over us - so what if no other teams has won more games than us in the last 5 years - don't worry about it!

The 'off season' is the best time to be a Dorkers supporter - enjoy it - stop worrying about all things WCE!
