Is it possible to go from having absolutely no midfield depth to some in the space of one wafl final? O'Neil , Brayshaw and even Ainsworth (who I am not fond of ) certainly showed some good signs and helped drag the team over the line.

What a win for us in our inaugural year in the Wafl!
If they manage to transition Venables into the middle it looks a lot better depth wise.

If they manage to get Venables back on the track that is a win, if he has a full preseason and a year or 2 without injury, that’s a bigger win, both look doubtful atm.
I really cant remember a guy who had a knock thats knocked him out of playing for so long.

I have zero confidence in him returning.

I hope im wrong

Was such a s**t game I went and did some work around the house - did he dominate after that?
He turned it on in the last. 3 huge contested grabs and a punch from a ball up in the center square that ended up inside 50. His best grab of the lot was a one handed contested that he dished off to Brady for the winner.

Hes gunna be a ripper isnt he? Moves very well for a big bloke. With his size and marking id have a reasonable bet on him replacing JK.

It's like a dad coming home from working away and having to negotiate with his children, who he funds, to be able to park his car in his own garage. All while they complain that the car he bought them has to be parked on the lawn he also paid for now and it's unfair.

They would rather Subiaco won every year for a decade paying players outside the cap as brand ambassadors for sponsors than professionals not yet ready to play at the professional level show them up.
A few insecure Clubs in the WAFL🙄

Fair enough, that’s your opinion. I’m more in the corner of fu** West Coast when it comes to their seconds. Why would they like the Eagles or the Dockers? Neither of our two AFL clubs have done anything to help the WAFL since they were started.
Never seen either club celebrate the history of the WAFL.
All the money the Eagles and Dockers give their owners the WAFC give very little of it to the WAFL, under 10%.
Be dirty with the WAFC, I am in your corner there. The WAFL clubs themselves are fighting to exist and it probably wouldn’t be as hard for them if the two AFL clubs helped them out a bit more.
Think the WAFC is more the issue as from my understanding the Eagles give plenty to the Commission and they in turn should pass on a lot more to the WAFL Clubs. Therein lies the problem possibly?

It's entirely the problem. With a 'licence fee', 'ground rental fee' and whatever other bullshit tax the leeches of the WAFC impose on us the WAFL clubs should all be rolling in clover.
