I'm sure it's just the eagles taking a conservative approach with a young man.
We HOPE that that is the case.

Personally I am not so sure. Never seen anything quite like it. No matter what happens, even if he comes back, he may be one bad knock away from ending his career.

Do you have some inside info on his condition or just pure guesswork?

Think the WAFC is more the issue as from my understanding the Eagles give plenty to the Commission and they in turn should pass on a lot more to the WAFL Clubs. Therein lies the problem possibly?

The WAFC have so many staff who for the most part have positions that do nothing to help Football is where the money goes.
The WAFL get less than 10% of what the Eagles and Dockers give their owners in royalties.

It's like a dad coming home from working away and having to negotiate with his children, who he funds, to be able to park his car in his own garage. All while they complain that the car he bought them has to be parked on the lawn he also paid for now and it's unfair.

They would rather Subiaco won every year for a decade paying players outside the cap as brand ambassadors for sponsors than professionals not yet ready to play at the professional level show them up.

A lot of these so called professionals struggle to get a kick in the WAFL because they are not ready to play WAFL league football.
The colts play at 10am.

That both surprises me o_O and disgusts me 😡 , thats ******* pittance.

Begs the question just where the hell does all the millions that they receive get spent .

I'm sorry to be potentially rude, but I would have thought words and phrases like 'HOPE', and 'Never seen anything like it', and 'not sure' and 'may be...' would have made it plain that there was no inside knowledge.

Just my opinion based on the evidence of one reasonably heavy knock putting him out for the season.

Again, sorry if this comes across as rude, it isn't meant to be.

All good there, you sounded confident in what you were saying I thought maybe you heard something the rest of us weren't privy to.

An interesting one for Simmo again this week with the Beagles playing on Sunday again is that say if we do beat the Bombers tomorrow, and Ah Chee, Cameron, Schofield or Waterman don't play for the 1's, then if the next game is at the G' next Friday night does he hold them over again from the Claremont game to have cover given there will only be a 5 day back up.

C'mon you Beagles.

Hearing the melts from opposition team supporters on talk back has been quality listening and how good is Hamish Brayshaw belting that song after a win.

Looks like he will burst a pooper valve every time

Love all the responses “beating an AFL team will always be hard”. Mate, you can’t take a bunch of 18-20 year olds who’ve never debuted, stick an Eagles logo on them and call them an AFL side.

The squad is populated with kids who’ve never played AFL, local top ups who were passed on by every WAFL club and retirees who pulled the boots on a year and a half after hanging them up in the first place. Yeah there’s some talent, but if I were a hardcore WAFL fan I’d be more annoyed at Subi than any Eagles affiliate side.

But then again the logo is the same, so must be some sort of unfair advantage.

Cameron, Petch, Ah Chee, Duggan all named in the extended squad. Interesting given it’s only a 5 day break til we play the pies or cats

Spotted Brander at jacobs ladder today strolling a few laps. Looked pretty fit considering he's been out. He's a big unit too.
Yeah he waa unlucky this year. Him and Oscar were basically going head to head for the same spot at the start of the preseason

Oh but I am annoyed with Subiaco. Their unfair advantage has been cut off but their built up financial position will see them continue to dominate for a few years yet
