Guessing Pobjoy is the son of the ex-Bulldog/Shark Chris Pobjoy?

Nah pretty sure he's from an entirely different Perth based family also with the surname Pobjoy.

Beagles getting flogged...29 to 6

This arrangement cant be good for our youth

How Williams going to develop as a key forward when he's playing with ammos weekley
The current WAFL arrangement will be fine once we’ve sorted out our S&C department and don’t have half our list injured.

There should be 10+ AFL-listed players out there every week, which makes a hell of a difference in terms of competitiveness and actually lets the young guys develop.

A roughly 50/50 split of AFL-listed players and borderline WAFL-quality players strikes the balance of not getting destroyed every week, while still making sure we’re not completely dominating the competition.

Case in point is 2019, when we weren’t in the middle of a catastrophic injury crisis - we were able to field 10+ AFL-listed players pretty much weekly and ended up making finals.

West Perth in front 51-12 at HT.

Hasn’t really blown out yet, but Falcons have been wasteful in front of goal so far.

Actually some decent passages of play from our end but it’s just simple skill errors which are costly.

Trew up to 10 touches which is an improvement on the last couple of weeks, I guess.

Strnadica has 14 hitouts to Delaporte’s 6, but West Perth’s midfield sharks most of them and he’s not having much impact around the ground.

Jack Williams really struggling with just the 1 disposal and 4 hitouts. Might not be the worst idea to throw him behind the ball as CC mentioned, get him around the footy a bit more.

That screaming West Perth fan is just insufferable.

Pick him in the MSD and this board sooks about stacking pur side with WAFL players (even though he's clearly a level above now)

Don't pick him and let someone else get him and this board sooks about how could we miss on a guy right under our nose

I guess he's body conditioned and skilled to walk straight into the team, the price you pay for his age. Something in the back of my mind wants us to go young in the MSD but won't be unhappy with him.

I don't mind him with our 2nd pick but I'd rather a younger mid who has potential to be in the team for 10 years with our first.

Agree

Maybe go one young and one like him but again at age 25 you could get 5-7 good years out of him and we are backfilling a black spot on our list with mids who can actually play mid…

Stack up west, clark and florencas body of work as midfielders against the oneill, nelson, rothams , langdon and petchs of the world and I know what I would take

For those with more WAFL knowledge than me (everyone) where is Williams playing?

Question given Florenca has nominated for the MSD: if another team drafts him do we get to put someone else on our top up list?
