In all seriousness, I have two questions.
Because of this latest happening:

First, how many of you WFC members will not be renewing your memberships next year?

Second, to WFC supporters, how many of you will be 'taking a backseat" approach (no pun intended) to supporting your club next season?

I am not trying to troll here, I am genuinely trying to find out how (if at all) this saga will effect or has effected the supporter base of WFC.

I have been a lapsed Melbourne member for a few years now.

This has actually inspired me to get off my arse and take up a membership again next year.

I see it as very miguided that the football club should take overall responsibility for the stupid actions of a few players.

The club is full of good young men who I am going to barrack hard for in coming years.

It shouldn't effect those loyal to West Coast. :thumbsu:

It's not a question of loyalty... it's a matter of voting with your feet. Members that are disgusted with what is happening to the club have every right to express their disgust. Choosing not to re-new your membership sends a pretty strong message.

Of course, that's easy for me to say. As a Victorian member, I can re-new my membership any time I want, without having to worry about getting stuck on the waiting list :)

No way would I let really anything off the field effect my loyalty for the team. I will "NEVER" give up my membership or take a back seat to WCE.

What do you mean? Some havnt sat down from the standing ovation yet ;)

Are you a WCE supporter, or member? No, then why race in here and post as quickly as you could?? You seriously have a bloody obsession with our club. Go focus on your own bloody club for a change idiot.

in...won't not renew my membership over this and it seems the board has finally bitten the bullet and done the right thing by its sponsors, members and other players.

pretty sure the only reason i would ever decide not to renew my membership would whether i have the money to do it or not.

I have been a member for 6 years now and if i gave up my membership to "make a point" I'm sure on of the over 5000 people on the waiting list will happily take it and the club won't worry about it. I'd rather be able to see my team play every second week than follow this "lets take a stand" crap.

No matter what I always have been and always will be a proud supporter of the west coast eagles football club. A few individuals and a few on field performances might disappoint but hey that's life in the real world not just the football world.

Go eagles :thumbsu:
ill be there in 2008 regardless of what stance they take on cousins.

Seriously, do you just not get it?

Are you prepared to compromise the integrity of the club you supposedly love for the sake of a flag? Really? Sorry dude, I'd be more than happy to take the spoon in 2008 if it meant having a clean club.

Superstars win you flags, that's all there is to it. I really don't care what he does off field as long as we get success on it.

100% in no matter what happens regarding Ben. Anyone who wants to jump ship to Fremantle or whoever if we stick by Ben shouldn't let the door hit them on the way out, good riddance to you.

the club is bigger and alot prouder than one player

We are a proud team who will bounce back

any west coast supporter who stops supporting the team after this shouldnt go for us at all.
