Don't see anyway Carlton can get close. How many top 4 teams have Carlton beaten this year? Why would they start in week 26 of football when they haven't been able to all year.

Carlton are talking up their chances, like any real supporter should. But in the last month they've lost to the Hawks and Saints, with only one win coming against Essendon. It was a big win, but it was against a team that were lucky to get over Port in round 23.

Carlton are the 5th best team in it, but unfortunately they're facing the 4th best team tonight, who beat them in Melbourne... Haven't Eagles only lost 1 game at Subi the entire year? Good luck against a packed house with 80%+ Eagles supporters revving up their team, along with the "home free kicks". On top of ALL of this, Gibbs and Kreuzer are out. Cox and Kerr are in.

Carlton will get smashed in their backline against West Coast's tall forward line and Carlton will get smashed in the forward line as the small forwards wont have the space they got against Essendon. Carlton have a better midfield (although Gibbs out and Kerr evens it up a bit), but wont get a chance with the Eagle's midfield being fed the ball by Nicnat and Cox.

There is belief, and then there is just stupidity. If Carlton get within 6 goals, it will be a miracle. $1.43 for the Eagles atm, massive value. Load up because this game will be over by half time.

I'm expecting Carlton to come out firing, be ahead at qtr time, then West Coast to turn it on and end up winning comfortable. Carlton will be locked in defensive 50 for a lot of the game.

Just my prediction, WCE by 45

With this wind its going to be pretty scrappy with not to many Marks taken.

Im expecting close at 1/4 time with Eagles just in front. 2nd & 3rd quarter they will have their usual flat spot, Blues to be up by 30 at 3/4 time. Last 1/4 to be one of the great finals quarters with Eagles storming home before a couple of steadying goals by the Blues.

Blues by 15-20 points.

Too much effort buddy. 3 words: "Eagles will win" would've saved you some time and from looking silly.

I think Carlton will win. Yes they beat us in Melbourne but that was a very different side to the one that will run out today. We don't play Subiaco too badly, it shouldn't be a problem.

Our backline is underrated. With Jamison back and looking good, and Henderson playing well down there now, we are a lot better than when their talls killed us last time (losing Jamison first quarter).

Should be a bloody good match, hopefully Blues in a close one.

Carlton's backline is terrible and it will be exposed badly.

Our back line has done a good job this year, has got good players in there and we've finally got the right balance. I do rate your forward press very highly though and it will be one of the biggest deciding factors in the result.
