Umpires are raping us.

Are you ****ing kidding me? Your blokes have dropped the ball 5 times & nothing has been given. Suban took on 2 players, straight up dropped it & it was play on

I'm sorry, but this is just stupid coaching and selection, and exactly the result I expected given the teams selected. The Bulldogs need Will Minson. He's got the strength and experience to compete, and at least give the Bulldogs a chance at stoppages. He was averaging 4.7 tackles and 4.7 1%ers per game before being dropped, which is very good for a ruckman, so contrary to the "he's not up to scratch defensively" line that people have been trotting out. his defensive effort was certainly there.

Ayce Cordy and Tom Boyd simply do not cut it as a ruck combination. They've been getting smashed in the hitouts for weeks now (hitout count has been 171-93 in favour of the opposition over the last three weeks without Minson) , and with Freo's experienced, quality midfield, the Bulldogs mids simply aren't getting any opportunity to rove Sandilands' taps, and are getting punished for it. I understand "getting games into younger players" and "learning through experience", but losing the ruck so comprehensively doesn't just affect your ruckman, it affects your entire team. The whole team is put behind the eight ball from the word go, and it's a major blow to their confidence if they don't have the confidence that they can get the footy or at least break even in the middle.

Minson is going to get pantsed by Sandi anyway, they probably thought they might as well pick someone that might do something around the ground.

What is Cordy going to do around the ground? He gets disposals and marks than Minson, and gets smashed at stoppages and clearances too.

They've picked a problem that wasn't really there, and tried to solve it with an even worse solution.

Minson does more around the ground in 1 game than Cordy has in his entire career. 1 possession to QT.

They beat the Crows (Jacobs) and the Swans (Pyke) without him. He's not as important to them as many think.

Ace Cordy?

Good one :D

Couldn't agree anymore. Doggies are a fantastic clearance team even with fewer hit outs but this is just too much of an ask.

6 free kicks to two, when wer'e winning most of the ball. Walters smashed in the head twice, no free kick. Ballantine bumped in the head, no free kick. Your players get a tinge on the head and two free kicks were given for it. Last year against you guys we had 4 free kicks for the whole game against your 20 something. Umpires look after you against us.

Despite the scoreboard, they got smashed in the ruck in both of those games, and managed to have some fortune in roving the opposition's taps. You can't rely on that every week, and the big, bullying Freo are punishing them for it.

You just can't expect to compete with the Dockers in any way if their midfield are getting easy first use all the time.
