I'm going a bit conspiracy theory on this one. I'm thinking that the current jumper that GWS is getting around in (the blue one with the big white V with red outline) is a preview to their AFL jumper, just as the Gold Coast Suns jumper was very similar to the one used in the VFL. But since they've already stated that they won't use those colours (probably because the Doggies use them) I'm going for the obvious double blue colour scheme. I've also added a little wolf silhouette in their as well just to break it up a bit. I got the idea from the South Sydney Rabbitohs, who have their little rabbit logo on the chest.

That's pretty good, I like it!
I kinda feel like it could do with more dark blue on the jumper itself.. Being predominantly light blue could make it seem kinda.. gay? (Not that there's anything wrong with that, but they call the sport gayFL already..)
Perhaps have another dark-blue V below the white one?
Perhaps have dark blue side panels (like the Suns' yellow panels)?
Perhaps GWS in big letters below the V in dark blue
Perhaps a thick dark blue vertical stripe (20cms wide) from the V down to the bottom?
A dark blue wolf-head silhouette?

Agree BWFC; have to get away from the similarities with Footscray/Western Bulldogs. They own those colours and are entitled to them. AFL/GWS need to get creative in a hurry. From the Canberra perspective a Parliament House logo - a la the winning post at Thoroughbred Park - will do just fine.

Pretty sure that the Bulldogs post was a joke, and they've stated on numerous occasions that they won't be using red, white and blue, those were just the campaign colours in alignment with AFL branding.

I'd assume that the ACT jumper will be some way related to the ACT state jumper?

Well charcoal and white are both secondary colours so that doesn't matter. Orange and red on the other hand are both the dominant/expressive colours which I think just makes for a colourfully dull rivalry if that makes sense.

Sounds trivial and probably is.

Can someone please do a mock up of the proposed away jumper, featuring blue.

I suggest use the Orange/Charcoal/White jumper as a template that Israel Folau
modeled.

Keep the orange at the top of the jumper. Make the charcoal dark blue. Make the stylized 'G' light blue.

Actually I think the Giants jersey that is orange, w/ charcoal panels at the side and a charcoal 'G' would look pretty good with blue instead of Orange..
Or if the main colour was blue and the side panels and 'g' were both Orange. That'd look pretty bold, bright and strong..

^^In the current colours yes, but to be honest was never a big fan of wolves(hated it actually), to be honest was always partial to the Razerbacks. Aussie name and not in use anymore. But the Giants have grown on me to the point where i wouldnt want to be anything else.

Not the only one. Giants has worked well enough, makes for decent news headline puns. I don't believe Giants is used by any other team in Australia.

The Giants was the name of the 1st rugby league team based in Gold Coast and Tweed Heads called The Gold Coast Tweed Giants back in 88. Lasted 1 year before changing its name to Seagulls, think the Vics had an NBL team called Giants as well.
