Can't look at Newman anymore.
Keep it positive please Ted. I thought he had a pretty good year when given opportunities to run and carry ;)

1. The Swans to win the flag!
I'm believing 2018 is our year. I'll be taking leave and having the week off and spending it in Melbourne to ensure that I am there!

2. George Hewett to continue to improve and become an absolute star.
For all that we sponsored him this year, I don't think he has got the kudos he has deserved. He has slotted in and played his role (including some excellent tags and stops) this year, and been really good. I'm expecting 2018 to be his breakout year.

3. Isaac Heeney to be playing at full strength.
Stricken with illness at the beginning of the season, 2017 has seen improvement from Isaac but not to the level expected before the Glandular Fever. I reckon in 2018, he will again be an absolute delight to watch. I can't wait!!!

4. Callum Mills to have a breakout season.
Having now had two seasons under his belt, I am expecting him to have a full pre-season, bulk up a little more, and be the transition director from D50. Any doubters will be blown away by his skills, footy nous and leadership.

While there are a million other brilliant positive things that I am looking forward to, I have to go to work, so I'm stopping here :)

dean towers continuing development.

harry cunningham shirking the issue once more.

mcveigh carving up opposition with his skill and class.

1. We have fewer injured players this time of the year as compared to last year.
Pre- season possibly only interrupted for
Dan Hannerbery (does he have osteitis pubis? will a late start to pre-season/rest be the cure?) and
Kurt Tippett to get his ankle checked out.
2. The excitement of our under 22's: Zac Jones, George Hewitt, Isaac Heeney, Tom Papley, Lewis Melican, Will Hayward and include Ollie Florent, Jordan Dawson, Toby Pink, Sam Murray, Sam Fisher, ...
3. Isaac Heeney will not have glandular fever
4. Aliir Aliir has a good pre-season.
5. Coaching panel changes - if Stuart Dew gets Gold Coast Suns coaching position then Rhyce Shaw may be more involved with the seniors.
6. We may have up to 4 draftees/rookies to welcome to our club
7. Nick Blakey gets drafted at the end of the 2018 season :)
