Surely the Hogan vs Warrior match at Halloween Havoc brings the whole PPV down somewhat?

Anyhoo, I'd probably have to say WMX7 is the best I've seen so far - however here are a few more of my faves:

WM6 - back when mania had a shite load of matches on the card and included the good Hogan vs Warrior match.
King of the Ring 98 - Undertaker vs Mankind Hell in a Cell match on it's own makes this an awesome PPV, but had some other good matches on the card - Rock vs Shamrock one of those.
Royal Rumble 2000 - Mankind's last 'true' match against HHH in HIAC, Rock wins Rumble, Tazz debuts in WWE and is first to defeat Angle, Hardyz vs Dudleyz in a tables match, Mae Young's ****.
Royal Rumble 2001 - Another solid match with a mini Austin-Rock showdown, and for mine of the best ladder matches of all time with Jericho vs Benoit for the I/C title.
WMX9 - Already covered.

So hard to pick

Of the Manias, I liked VIII, XIII, XIX, XX

Havoc 98 was a very good show, havent seen it for a long time though, think 96? Was also a solid event

Rumble 2000 was a good PPV, also enjoyed 99

I am sure there are many more, need to improve my PPV collection for a few older PPVs at some stage

.

Only memorable for the Cell match and the first blood match which turned into a Cell match half way through it, rest of the PPV was pretty forgettable.

1) It was a street fight
2) Big Show won the rumble, didn't you watch raw and smackdown afterwards?
3) ELIMINATION tables match
4) THe last part didn't happen

Im glad Some people Think WCW had some good Main events. Great American Bash was Brilliant. I loved Starrcade 1989 because it was the Iron Man Tournament. However there are many WCW and WWF/E ppvs worthy of Being Mentioned.

WCW

GAB and Starcade of 1989.

GAB 1990: Big Van Vaders WCW Debut, Sting wins WCW/NWA belt.

Starcade 1993: Main event, Vaders WCW belt, Flairs career, It was all on the line.

GAB 1996: Some regard this as the best PPV ever made.

Bash at the Beach 1996: Just for the main event!:)

WWF

Canadian stampede 1997: Awesome Main Event never have I seen a Brilliant Crowd.

Summerslam 1997: Bret Hart vs Taker, Austin vs Owen Hart. (This was one of Bret Harts final great matches for the WWF)

Royal Rumble 1998: Good IC title match, Good Rumble excellent casket match for the WWF title.

Royal Rumble 1994: Good Rumble, brilliant casket match for the WWF title.

Armageddon 2006: Each match was good.

GAB 1996: Some regard this as the best PPV ever made.

Bash at the Beach 1996: Just for the main event!:)

GAB: 1996 was a seriously awesome PPV. Rey Mysterio's debut, the Benoit match and who can forget the Bischoff powerbomb off the stage? Holy christ the Sullivan and Benoit match had some seriously stiff shots. Thought they would have killed each other :p

BATB 96: Nuff said. The most influential moment in wrestling makes this a must see event. Wrestling would never have been as popular if it werent for the Hogan heel turn. Best moment in wrestling history!

I'll only list a few:

Fully Loaded '98
Royal Rumble: 99, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004
Summer Slam: 98, 99, 2000, 2001, 2002
WM: IV (it was my first, thus sentimental value), VI, VIII, X, XII, XIII, XIV, XV, XIX, XX, XXI, XXII.

** I deliberately left X7 off as it was not one of my favorite Manias, nor ppvs in general, due to how predictable it was. The Austin heel turn was  worthy, might have been epic.... but hello it was obvious he was in heel Austin mode the moment the bell rang.

I actually consider WrestleMania XV to not only be my favorite WrestleMania, but also favorite ppv overall. I loved the matches, and where the storylines went on the night and of course the aftermath.

WM 17 is the number 1 but 2 little gems no has mentioned is No Way Out 2001. An awesome card with possibly one of the greatest matches to end a blood feud in HHH vs Austin in a 3 stages of hell match. 1st fall straight up, 2nd fall no dq and 3rd fall in a cage. The ending was superb. If no one has seen this you should go out of your way to see it. The card also had Angle v Rock, Jericho v Benoit v Guerrero v X-Pac and The Dudley Boyz v Edge & Christian v Undertaker & Kane.

Another classic is King of the Ring 2001. The card was stacked and was headlined by Austin v Benoit v Jericho for the title which was a **** affair as well as the insane brawl between Kurt Angle & Shane McMahon. I'll never forget Angle suplexing Shane not once but twice through the plexiglass and it wouldnt break. I thought he was dead.

Anway they are 2 of my more obsure favourites.

that happened at no way out. rumble was a street fight,

Oops sorry my bad, but that streetfight was also great and the Rumble match was one of the best. I loved how Kaientai kept trying to get in until eventually of them was thrown flat on their face on the floor outside the ring, I'm guessing that wasn't a work.

1) It was a street fight
- already pointed out, got that one wrong but was still a great match
2) Big Show won the rumble, didn't you watch raw and smackdown afterwards?
- I know exactly what happened afterwards, hence why Big Show was in the mania title match, but on the night the Rock was the winner and will always be the true winner.
3) ELIMINATION tables match
- tag team table matches back then were pretty much always elimination style, didn't see that as worth mentioning really
4) The last part didn't happen
- it was a big moment in WWE history - fair to say a moment that my eyes are still burning from - but still a moment none the less.

Yep and Around that time that was the start of WCWs dominance of the WWF.

Wrestlemania 22 in Chicago. The only Wrestlemania (and pay-per-view for that matter, aside from the house show PPVs) that I've ever attended. Amazing night.

WM X-7 - enough said

WM XIX - great card, lesnar v angle was amazing

No Mercy 2002 - awesome card, tag title match edge/rey vs angle/benoit was one of the best tag matches i've ever seen. only one thing annoys me about this event, kane should have been put over by HHH even though it was never gonna happen. if kane won the title here he wouldn't have become the joke he is now, he was never used well i always thought.

Summerslam 2002 - rock v brock, hbk return, and a really solid undercard

Man I'm Jelly!

I've got that DVD and it's seriously one of the best Wrestlemania's and very underrated. :thumbsu:

WM X7 - The Rock/Stone Cold & TLCII - E&C v HB v DB
KOR 1998 - got the original on VHS - HIAC Undertaker vs Mankind - legendary
SS 2002 - first ever elimination chamber match. The build up was actually fairly good
WM XX - Benoit & Eddie both holding titles

Wow, that reminds me of the promo for the match
I loved it. Lets see if I can find it :)

Got the DVD.

Which brings me to another point, whether you liked him or not, I though Bischoff was good for Raw
