Ling: will never forget his amazing tagging job on Brent Harvey in the 2007 qualifying final - he held him to 7 touches for the match! It's still incredible. Harvey was All-Australian that year, too.

I also remember a clutch contested mark he took in the dying minutes of a rare win over Port Adelaide at AAMI - perhaps in early 2005?

Kicking a goal to put us 100 points up in the 2007 GF is a highlight and he saved one of his best games for last with a brilliant job on Swan in this year's GF. Lingy's celebrations after kicking the final goal of the game will stay with me for a long time.

Milburn: 19 possessions in the first quarter v Bulldogs in 2008, it was like he had the ball on a string. Also some truly gutsy attacks on the ball in the last quarter of the 2009 GF, and his super sub winning goal in round 1 this year.

Mooney: Loved (yet hated, for obvious reasons!) his tears after the 2005 semi final loss. It showed he was just as passionate about Geelong as us then long suffering supporters. His game the week before v Melbourne (elimination final) was possibly his best for the club to date - I remember he just destroyed them playing all over the ground, having an impact in the ruck and kicking two goals.

I loved it whenever he'd kick a bag against Hawthorn (and he'd give it to their supporters) and still get chills watching him slot his first goal in the 2009 GF and seeing his teammates get around him.

The photos of him standing on the fence at the 'G, holding the 2009 cup aloft are also some of my all time favourites.

Ottens: As others have said, I remember being so proud when he publicly declared he wanted to play for us. We had tried unsuccessfully to get big name players in the years before, and Ottens wanting to come to Geelong (specifically to play finals) was vindication that we were doing the right thing.

There are a million on field Ottens moments I could mention as he was one of my favourites, but just a few: mark of the year 2006, 2007 prelim final (one of the most important individual performances in the club's history), his chase down and tackle in the 2007 GF, his VFL comeback in 2009 just in time for the finals, BOG performance v Hawthorn in this year's qualifying final, handball to Hawkins for his third goal in this year's GF.

All four are club legends and I am definitely going to shed some tears when they do their laps of honour next year.

Ling: Many great memories obviously his last quarter goal in the grand final, not just the goal itself but that sheer relief and joy you could see beaming out of him, and knowing in that moment it was probably going to be his last ever goal...perfect.

Milburn: many, but has to be the round 1 goal. Gee it seems so long ago but it was so crucial.

Moons: many memories for me, including him on the fence holding up the cup to us all 09 was so joyous. A left field one, but for me my favourite memory was after this year's win hearing him say how happy he was for Tom and that he knew it was the right decision, because watching him he knew he couldn't have done it himself. That brutal honesty and selflessness says so much about his character and why our fans have loved him for so many years.

Otto: Has to be Pettigrew as a moment, I knew we'd win then. And the week before, one of the best individual, if not the best, performances by one of our players in this 5 year era. And mark of the year 06. Although my favourite is actually seeing him dominate against the Dogs this year, turning the clock back to remind us all, even those like me who doubted whether his body could go on for 2011, how powerful and dominant those mitts could be.

Love them all, will miss them a lot.

Ling the unfashionable footballer who turned tagging into an art form; his final game was one of his finest
Otto September / Big Game - any year!
Mooney every game he instilled fear in the opposition
Milburn never lost a one on one; his best game was the 2009 GF despite his arguments with the umpire. Loved his white line fever.

Ling Just loved his recent final series, especially the jobs on Mitchell & Swan. The lasting memories will be of him standing tall, tough and strong either in or laying a tackle. Was the master at lifting the arms just before being tackled to get that handball off.

Dash His 08 game against the Dogs when he was treated for leather poisoning at qtr time. That and his efforts playing as a defensive CHF through the 06 NAB Cup. Destroyed Cornes in one of the games when the Chad was one of the comps best.

Otto 07 prelim of course and 08 v Port was just a contested markoligist. That chase though in the 07 GF, that was just HUGE.

Moons Seeing the big bloke playing in the guts against the Dees in 05 finals. Bash and crash just suited him better than most. They say some blokes wear their heart on their sleeve and Moons was the epitomy of that. Loved the fist pump. Pure passion that would just fire you up.

just wanted to highlight highflyingcat's comment, as Milburn's ability to win genuine one-on-one contest's was amazing.

Ling: I loved his passion. He was definitely not one of the faster players, which is why it warmed my heart to see him constantly run and toil his guts out for all it was worth until his face was as red as his hair. My favourite Ling moment is n/a, as all his tagging jobs were an absolute pleasure to watch. The last goal in the 2011 GF was pretty magical.

Milburn: I loved the goal in round 1, with 19 seconds on the clock. Never lost a one on one and was probably our most reliable player. Dashaaa!

Ottens: Pettigrew chase easily. Had chills for 20 minutes.

Mooney: Wow wow wow. Mooney, Moondog, Big Hairy Catta, Moons, where do I start?! I love this guy so much and I don't think anyone on here would be willing to read the huge description I probably would have written. I would probably be in tears by the end of it. My favourite player EVER and always will be! MOOOOOOOO!! Bloody champ and I reckon you are the Geelong icon.:heart::heart:

Me too. I am in the photo is why :)
