This is EXACTLY the kind of information I was hoping to get regarding this item and i appreciate you going out of your way to put together a detailed and helpful response.

I actually won the ball as a door prize (complete in case) back in 2001 so there was no outlay on my part and any money I make on it if i was to sell it would be a win. However it's a pretty cool piece that I wasn't actually thinking of selling, rather to gauge it's current worth.

I may also need to pump it up now though haha.

Some online places sell empty framing modules otherwise i've done a few framing tests using the cheap poster frames from Cheap as chips/Kmart/Ikea. They come out looking OK but at the end of the day you get what you pay for.

I’ve use poster frames in the past and they look ok. I’ll jist do that again, I was kind of hoping there was a certain cheap frame in a specific shop that worked particularly well.

You need a box frame and the best solution, unfortunately for your wallet, is to have them custom made.
There's a guy I use in Kent Town who does framing for art prints and is very good. Art Moods, behind Giallo.

I have a Salisbury North guernsey that I need to get framed. It is one that was produced for the game Mick O’Loughlin played after he retired from the swans, and has all of the players who had played at least 200 senior games for the Club,

Mick Signed this one right below my name.

I also have a replica 1959 FA Cup Forest shirt which I might put together in a frame to go with my signed 1980 Euro Cup framed shirt.

No dramas mate, that was just off a google search so you would probably just want to email the site to confirm they still actually operate lol.

I'm a Liverpool fan but those Forest jerseys sound fantastic, I know this is just for port stuff but upload a couple pics of them on here. Would love to see them!

I've also got an empty Duff can somewhere. I remember my parents getting a 6 pack just to try and for a bit of a joke...and I was begging them to buy a full carton saying it'll be worth heaps in a few years time.
