not the dartsfile but, judging from his latest material, our mate hoops .... othr bigfooty posters have linked hoops pretty conclusively to the aforesed radio

Can I take a guess and say he is worth at least $600-700 MINIMUM. Played better footy elsewhere and is worth whatever he can get but please dont try to tell us he loves the club and every bloke at Sandhurst is his mate.

The above is complete TISH. I have a very good idea about amounts and challenge your view as some people have to know. If I said an offer for over a $1K a game at Balranald was made and some more you do some homework and come back to me and see if its right. Ring your sources, discuss the comment and get some creditable comments from local people who may have some idea.
Dont bag people for having some knowledge which you obviously dont. If anything you should be thankful for the insight as you dont seem to know to much.

And yes Sandhurst are paying players considerably more than last year as they have to if they are to be competitive.

More than happy for you to challenge this but really better you keep quiet as the FACT is YOU dont know.

Trav Baird to stay at Donald.... Taking a pay cut to pick up a few extra players to apparently. surely G/Square wouldn't need to many more. any chance a few young blokes from the under 18's premiership side to try their luck elsewhere, as its going to be a tough senior side to crack into!!

I have had a new update here, apprently it may get messy now that Daryl is back..stay tuned...
Also, as much as the Maddern/South rumour seemed fanciful, now Ive heard it a few times and it wont go away. A prominent footy pal off mine was approached and asked his opinion of Balraj Singh by a recruiter from a Northern League. He was chasing $5k sign on and $1800 a game... Now anybody who saw him occupying E/hawks goal square know that thats pushing it. My guy said if you are spending 1800 Justin Maddern is your man. Enquiries made, Maddern has 1800 on the table from a Bendigo team...Interesting as South probably spent that total a week last year.... But with Essendons wealth of young talls, Bendigo Bombers is not the place for one last crack for Justin...ponder this, before we pour water...

I hear that if Maddern does not play for the Bombers he may end up at an Adelaide club.

Must say that most sides look they will have a bit more talent on their list so it could be a real cracker year of BFL Footy.

yes we don't advertise what recruits we have but that is what the go is this year we wont advertise until next year before we start playing ???

long time till the season starts tho anything can happen??

It doesn't matter if they keep everyone else, if Maddern and Downie leave as is being rumoured, they are shot for 2010.

Young Lachy Sharp totrain with Sandhurst. Has been left out in the cold by Strath despite his old man being on the committee and finishing 3rd? in their BnF.

Bendigo Bomber Brad Stringer will join him at the Dragons potentially, after it looked like he might get along to Eaglehawk next year.

No names as yet but they seem to have picked up quite a few.

Just as well if they have as the season was looking like a write-off before it even started.

You are a serial pest. How can they have picked up a few but have no names. Common theme from those high up at Castlemaine is that they are doing the groundwork to attempt some recruits but have had no definites yet. Plenty will have a look over the next few weeks like at most clubs but getting committment is the battle. Good luck to trhe Maine though and i hope they are looking forward as well as short term which has been their problem in the past.
