Depends what you're into, and what the schedule is like. Melancholia is supposed to be good, although I don't really like Lars von Trier. Footnote has won awards.

I really wanted to see Le Havre but it clashed with something else. Super looked fun, but I admit that's mostly because I love Ellen Page and Rainn Wilson - it looks like a bit of a ripoff of Kick Ass. Submarine is supposed to be hilarious - it has Richard Ayoade (sp?) who plays Moss in The IT Crowd.

As far as documentaries go I loved Senna, and I really wanted to see Page One: Inside the New York Times.

Watched Hanna today. Overall I enjoyed it a lot. Good acting all round, had good visuals and a great soundtrack. However I thought it had quite a few plot holes which lowered my rating of it. 7/10

Saw Transformers Dark Moon, was a great watch in my eyes! Can't get enough of the honey!

Just saw Dark City. Much better than The Matrix, which is the one most people compare it too. It was made in Australia as well and before The Matrix. Seriously, for any of you that haven't seen it, I recommend doing so. Amazing film.

You're in Melbourne, you should be going to MIFF. Some great stuff on offer there; I wished I was down there for longer.

Gonna get me some of "Driver" starring Ryan Gosling. Adapted from the James Sallis' existential noir novel. Heard good things about it.

Watched Election by Johnnie To on SBS2 last night. Crackin' fillum, though not as good as the sequel.

Watched Paul last night.

Was funny to start off with but really wasn't that good.

All I was expecting was laughs not the best CGI. With Frost and Pegg somehow I just feel it didn't deliver.

With that comedy expertise I should've been pissing myself.

Big let down.

Watched Tucker and Dale vs evil

Going in i thought it would just be another one of those crappy supposed to be funny teenage movies but i was pleasantly surprised, it has a fair bit of gore in it which i don't really enjoy but others might.

Overall was a really good movie with a really clever idea that held it together, highly recommend. Hilarious

Yi Yi (2000)

Saw this Taiwanese film last week. It always seems to be on those great films of the 90s/00s lists. Was pretty good had some memorable scenes. 7.5/10

Finally got around to seeing Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, had been on my watch-list for a while.

Always trepidation going into a movie that I've heard talked up. But this delivered. This is storytelling at its finest. You're sucked in from the start - the street vendor dialogue is funny and intriguing, cut to a brief but exciting chase scene...I've got an aversion to boring movies (who doesn't?), and this film was intriguing from start to finish.

At times the directing got on my nerves a bit with distracting camera angles, but overall this was largely overshadowed by the plot. Nothing special in terms of FX or anything, but the way the stories kept building on each other was done well and is, I understand, a Guy Ritchie trademark.

I saw Snatch a few years ago and will probably watch that again soon.

Watched Larry Crowne - wouldn't reccommend it unless you want to watch a feel good movie that is just so predictable.

Adam - About a man with aspergers syndrome. Was quite interesting and well acted. Worth Watching

The Eagle - Channing Tatum in a Roman war film. Thought it was pretty average but my bro enjoyed it.

MacGruber - ONe of those so bad its good movies but not one of the best of those.
