I think he has the potential to put on more size and develop into a bona fide KP. I just hope he doesn't lose his dash and flair. Is crucial to our long term set-up in defence

Really like the way he goes about his footy. Tall, fast and talented. Can play on smalls or talls, but is much more than a negating defender. Have noticed from day 1, that he is very good in congestion, almost Gibbs-like in terms of fast reactions. Often the first one to fire a handball out from packs. Plays with confidence, and seems to enjoy taking on the opposition by choosing the high risk high payoff clearance option. A massive talent, with a lot of versatility and upside. :)

I could turn around and say a couple of years back when a certain coach was still in charge, he had no confidence in himself and his abilities and a lot of the people on here that are now signing his praises were calling for his head.

It's amazing what a couple of things can do for the boy... having a coach who believes in his abilities and can foster the growth in the player to get that player to believe in his abilities.

He has some talent and now that he has confidence in himself, he will continue to get better and vindicate those of us who could see that when he was being coached by Pagan, he had no confidence and self-belief.

At the end of the 07 season and the start of the 08 season before he injured his wrist he looked like a completely different player and in the 09 season will continue to get better.

I agree with CP in that he isnt a KPP but an attacking HB Flanker who can also negate his opponant through his attacking ability.

Will play a major part in the solidification of the blues defence in the next couple of years and will be a part of the core of the defence that takes us to our next couple of flags.

Thank god the club didnt listen to those fans who couldnt see past the end of their nose and trade him for another one of Pagan's top up players...

Bower played the final 2 games of season 2008.

I'm in no way claiming to be au fait with the inside actions of the club but I can absolutely guarrantee that Bower wouldn't have been played if he wasn't completely over the injury.

Take it from me Bower ended the year still struggling with that injury and he had a few other things of which I am unable to tell you about.
Good WA boy Bowerbandwagon - lovely family!
