Slow Horses does not fall off a cliff, I mean you can make a stronger case for Day of the Jackal falling off a cliff in the same season. But having said that, I don't think either of them do.

Those sorts of shows require you to not overthink things, Day of the Jackal is a prime example of that. But again, it's hardly 'falling off a cliff' stuffSlow Horses third season is horrible.

The third season if Slow Horses was probably the weakest but the fourth was very good. There’s no decline in quality in my opinion
First time I've heard any slander on Slow Horses anywhere. I watched Season 1 but I've completely forgotten it. Will YouTube a summary and get into Season 2 soon.

Probably only going to have time for season 1 at this rate before I cancel the trial. Will weigh up whether I want to trade Apple TV for something else later.
