Couldn't bring myself to continue after she died in 2020.

One Hundred Years of Solitude (Netflix). - very good adaptation of the famous book. They built the town specifically and excellent set with pretty good performances by the main actors. Better than expected

I've not heard of this before so thanks, but I'm now wondering how the **** do you adapt that book to the screen?

Only one way to find out, I suppose.

Was a product of its time though, it was the perfect feelgood show to lift your spirits during COVID. I'm not sure it would have the same impact now.

Has taken me 3 tries at getting through episode 1 (usually late at night and tired) but once I got through that it’s thoroughly rewarding.

I’ve holidayed in Atrani and live just over an hour away from San Remo and spent many weekends there and in that area. Also time spent on the Almalfi coast and Naples. Adds a little spice to trying to spot locations I know.

My wife and I rewatched the film about a year back and it was also very enjoyable.

The lighting is brilliant, the acting too, but I just always know what’s about to happen.

In an ideal world, I’d have watched this series first(I’m up to ep6) and then the movie a few years later.

Got myself a free 3 month trial of Apple. Currently watching For All Mankind. It's great, I'm loving it so far.

Main goal is to get through all of For All Mankind, already watched Monarch Legacy of Monsters and Masters of the Air. Might give Silo a go if I finish FAM before the trial runs out and I cancel it.
