White number panels to be worn in all future Showdowns

Takes away from the completeness of the guernsey imo.

Predominantly one coloured guernseys shouldn't have number panels. I mean look how good Hawthorn's looks now. Imagine the Freo guernsey with a number panel...

Would look good with this design on the front

This should be worn for all Showdowns.... And perhaps 2-3 other games too.

Hawthorn re-adding the old timey black and white number panel that was completely separate from their colour scheme was Sooz-level moronic.

Our number panel is at least part of our colour scheme.

I quite like it. I think I'll stick with my 2014 BiB guernsey for the time being though.

Show me. Chevron blending into cuffs. Carn mate.
I'll upload it when I get home m8 the chevron to white trim compatibility issue is overstated more then brad's obsession for teal. The main advantage of it lies at the back of the jumper anyway, as it blends the panel in more naturally.

Yeah I don't really like it. It's pointless.

We also now have what, 5 guernseys on the go if you count the PBs? I quite liked the simplicity of 2 guernseys for a few years.

I wouldn't like it with a white collar and cuffs either.

Also it's going to look really, really stupid in home showdowns if we have a white number panel and the crows are wearing white shorts. Introducing a block of white for each team is not a good idea.,

Any chance the AFL decided this year that the Crows and Power guernseys clash, so the white number panel was added to ensure both clubs could continue wearing traditional strips?

You can never rule it out.

"Why? We seem to be wearing a different guernsey in every game we play these days. Just leave it alone, we already have a perfect guernsey." - Facebook User.

This guy gets it.

"why cant we just wear our premiership gurnsey every game? why did it even change haha. the old one was clearly the best" - Facebook user.

This guy doesnt.

I can't see it selling anymore than the teal guernsey either.

Yeah what I dislike about this other than the lack of trim is how we're not in regular kit against Adelaide, and also that issue of blocks of white in a home game.

Put trim on it and use it as a genuine alt or don't bother IMO.

1. Home
2. Away/Alternate
3. Clash
4. Heritage/Retro
5. Preseason
6. One-off/Promo (Indigenous, etc)

Seems pretty standard for a club with 4 colours and a continually evolving guernsey scheme.

"can we change the V stripe too while we're out changing things abot the guernsey? seems everyone has a V or sash strip now, the old Power one looked so much better, even the training guernsey with the lightning bolt looks better, imo"

FB
This sort of shit getting bandied about is the reason why people around here are extremely hesitant to hear jumper ideas

cant believe people are whinging about this.
oh too much white, oh miss match ra ra, half this, half that something else, oh too many different guernseys oh ra ra ra ra boo who...needs more teal...
im sure people just whine for the sake of whining. it looks good, its only two games a year, it will probobly outsell the regular home guernsey if every other time they've embraced the past is to go by, its good for the club.
