Yeah doesn't alot of that have to do with the Ox being a bit of a flog and taking the young blokes under his wing.

Also if you wanna be like that, the only year the club has actually hit it's potential was when we were forced into a covid bubble. When we've been out on our own we've been massive underpeformers
Ox was gone two years after Neitz became captain. Besides, I'm talking more about how the captains got their playing groups actually being professionals when they're at the club and getting everything out of themselves on gameday. As far as the past few years goes I've rarely been unhappy with our effort. It's our gamestyle that has hurt us.

If you wanna throw that at Neitz then where has Gawn been while his teammates are doing coke before finals and damaging property

Wasn't Neitz fault we didn't draft or trade for any good defenders, same way Gawn didn't build the list he was just here for it
Oh ffs come on, I love Neitz but lets not cherry pick what we will blame Gawn for and just overlook with Neita

* In order to galvanize the team he took them on a full day piss which saw him get into a fight with security at the casino

* Also Neitz was captain when Byron Pickett couldn't play because he was too hung over

* Also lead the club through a glorious time of certain players losing basically everything to gambling (Ox, Febey, Ward & Trapper)

* Plus I can tell you for 100% fact that there were a group of players getting ****ed up on the gear during the week when he was captain. Old mate with the chopper mo playing full back at the time was the ring leader

* Or maybe the 2000 grand Final when he stood there as captain and literally watched our young players get bashed on the field without doing anything

* Stephen Powell was a gun for us. Why did he leave?
wanted a multi year deal but the Dees would only offer him a 1 year deal because he had OP which was a career killer at the time

Well I already brought up the casino incident so that's a big L for you

Lol Pickett was hungover so that's neitz fault. Fair enough

How the **** is a captain supposed to stop problem gamblers lol like he's a counselor is he?

Players getting on the gear during the week when he was captain. Lucky that would never happen these days under Gawn

That last ones also stupid, Gawn the notorious tough guy who's never been bullied on the field before

You just kind of proved my point of your double standards though

Sometimes just take you L's a move on rather than doubling down

Yeah, club ended up being spot on, did nothing for the Saints. Career over shortly after leaving us sadly.

Easy, top 4 is Powell, Vardy, Pedo and Cross

Byron would make it into the top 5. Man I loved him. Dont care how fat he was he was just a joy to watch play. Everything I like in a footballer.

He was ****ing crap for us and I still loved him lol. Bet almost no one remembers he played for us

He was ******* crap for us and I still loved him lol. Bet almost no one remembers he played for us

He still provided some highlights and had an enforcer aura.

Daniel cross getting stretched off in his final game which was also meaningless was why I loved him. Bloke gave absolutely everything for us.

Moments like this as well

Cant you see this whole vote is tearing us apart!

Regardless of how many AA's and other awards were won, Cox was better than Gawn.

Gawn is #2 of the modern era rucks behind Cox and ahead of Sandilands.

Nah, Max has him now. Gawn is a much more impactful player. You and TK are letting your dislike of him as a person cloud your judgement of actually how good he is as a footballer.
