NO NO NO to Kingsley. History has shown that every club he goes to plummets down that ladder.

Richmond were already at their peak when he arrived there. And once again they are also plummeting down that ladder.

As midfield/stopage coach, he has had the best player in the league under him. Ofcourse he is going to look brilliant. Now that Dusty is out for the rest of the year, lets see how the midfield performs. If he can get Richmond into the finals without Dusty, that will be a true test.

But otherwise, check the track record of every club he has coached at and really is very poor.

The biggest takeaway for me from that article is that we interviewed Voss and Kingsley on Saturday because that’s when they were available. The process is not going to be linear. Some on our short list we may have already spoken to twice others while others we are still waiting to talk to.

Basically anyone on the suggested shortlist is a win except Voss, Scott and Leppa. Happy with Choco but for a couple years then handing off to one of the younger ones.

I wouldn’t call getting The Crows to the GF, nothing. Seems to be highly rated at The Swans and they are playing a really good brand of footy at the moment IMO.

Besides I don’t even think that’s the point, I genuinely think Lyon has moved on in life and that passion and want to coach isn’t there anymore.

The only blemish next to his name is the training camp.
