Never a truer statement made by a Wobbler supporter;

Yes, our list and salary cap management over recent years has been scandalous - worst in the comp. We should have a dynasty team rather than a single, snatched Premiership.

Fudgey - what is you abacus telling us tonight?

Ladder positions and overall season results are used to measure and compare all 18 teams in the competition. If narrowing the focus to a subset of only two teams, the industry standard to measure which is the better of them is their head to head results.

With Carlton finishing the season strongly and Collingwood moving in the opposite direction, Collingwood's current position as the better team in 2024 might finally come to an when the sides play each other next fortnight.

If Carlton does record its first head to head win for season 2024 in August as many expect it will, the Blues will have finally drawn level with the Pies after trailing 0-1 for three months in a row heading into the match.
As much as everyone hates a draw, at least we would have an answer to the 2024 question and someone can get the 2025 edition up and running, allowing both supporter bases to get an early start on 2025 preseason shit posting.

This looks like a ChatGPT post.

This looks like a ChatGPT post.

I just asked ChatGPT "Would ChatGPT write something like this:" and pasted my post. Here's what it responded with:

Yes, this passage seems like something ChatGPT could generate, particularly if discussing sports, team performance, and the anticipation around upcoming matches. It blends factual information (such as ladder positions and season results) with speculative commentary on team dynamics and future outcomes. The tone is informal and conversational, which aligns with how ChatGPT typically communicates. It also includes a touch of humor, referencing the anticipation among supporters for future seasons.

But no, ChatGPT didn't write it. Is that something you do? The things people are suspicious of can be telling!

Collingwood:

Downhill skiers
Refuse to defend
Soft
Oldest list in the comp
No depth
No kids coming through
Got rid of Ginnivan for Schultz
Can keep going....

Absolute basket case 🤣

Don’t forget the likely Pick 6-8 they are going to hand over to Fremantle. 😂

It’s a small consolation that it is 6. If it became 5 that would be a bigger disaster
The othe is giving us a pick upgrade to take ginni.
Aww Ginni. Took 3 votes away from Nick.
Pies aren't blessed with much talented youth , they prefer to give them away for pick swaps for sides they forecast finishing above them the following year.
They really should have traded Ginni to West Coast if they didn't like his brand. Pure gold

The pies have a GF and we don't, but seriously it the pies are relying on a soft seagull who does not like tackling either and the worst FB in the comp who somehow managed to get two AA for the next decade then they are in trouble.

Seriously though I remember last year we defeated Fremantle comfortably at their home deck, they were talking about how Schulz was a tough player, and not a star but a decent role player

Obviously he has a few good games back end of the year and raises his footy status a little bit

And pies, in their arrogance and desperation decide to give a first rounder away for a player that’s prob not even a b grader in how he’s performed…

It’s like Dees saying, ‘hey blues yeah we’ll cave, we’ll give you our future first for Matt Owies’

Insane…

It’s rare that you’d run your eyes over the reigning premiers list and go - “not much there I’d want”
Collingwood recruiters are going to have to pull the proverbial rabbit out of the hat for the Pies not to fall off the cliff.

Supporters around these neck of the woods won't hear of it

If your really trying to make a comparison Melbourne would need to add something reasonable to that first rounder to pry Owies out.

Oh make no mistake, the cliff is here and we are going over it.
Thankfully we have a Premiership Flag to use as a parachute :thumbsupv1: .

I hope we finish in 13th position, as that would be more beneficial than 9th for next years draw.

Every year cant be your year, surely as a Carlton supporter you realize that.

The 2024 Richmond team is better than the 2024 Sydney team.
