Pies 👍

Reigning premiers and in better form than Carlton
Hilarious… you nearly lost your last game to the bottom team.

Interesting grab on Fox Footy last night re record V top 8 teams…

Carlton 8 games for 20pts

Collingwood 6 games for 12pts… which includes the draws.

10 of our last 11 games have been against teams who are or where in the 8 at the time.

And you’re in better form? Ummm ok.

Losses since Easter:

Collingwood 1
Carlton 4

Better form 👍

Stick your "ladder positions", half the teams in the 8 currently will not be there in September

It was in response to a Carlton poster... having a MASSIVE whine about the draw.

Context.
According to the media, Carlton actually have had a tougher draw (2nd after GWS).

You're constantly whining despite having what the media have called an easier draw.

Anyway, regardless of draw. Carlton also have 2 more wins and a higher % than the Pies. Stop making excuses.

Carlton haven't played a team in the bottom 8 (at the time the game was played) since Round 5

Collingwood have only played bottom 8 teams (at the time the game was played) since Round 8.

They're all worth the same 4 points

One loss since Easter 🐣, brilliant form

I used the word "form" not "season"View attachment 2032397
Geez, first correcting spelling mistakes and now quoting the dictionary… this thread is really becoming and educational piece isn’t it.

“Current standard of play” hey.

So, the only logical application here is to refer back to the last games we played… You nearly lost to the bottom team and we had a 10 goal win against a top 8 team.

Not saying no one has ever won a flag after losing 4 games in a run of 6 within a season, I just don't remember anyone doing it 😆

Very flaky stuff
If we're flaky there are 16 teams below us still playing catch up.

Second on the ladder mate. Your definition of the word flaky sure is weird.

and Carlton 15th, how did that all end up?

Doesn't that tell us that we're greatly improved from last year mate, and that we're right in the mix in regards to winning flags?

Losing 4 out of 6 definitely a great improvement on losing 8 out of 9 👍 maybe next year you'll have a flag profile
I'll get back to you when you've learned how to construct a sentence properly.;)
