The first caller for Hawkins accused him of being selfish and only playing on to break the Geelong club games record.
When asked what club he supported, the response of course was 'Carlton'.

Before the slump they went from $9 to $76 to n/a to miss the finals, ie before the GWS that bet was not available as it was too outlandish
