They have had a 20 year window, during 1968 and 1987, where there were undisputed better than Collingwood.

But for the other 100 plus years in the history of the competition, Collingwood have shat over Carlton, including the last 36 years (since 1989).

Collingwood missing the finals in 2024 had nothing to do with depth, it was some of our stars who in prime ages that didnt show up.

DeGoey, Moore, IQ, Maynard were well down in 2024 when they were on the park - would expect much bigger impact and output from these guys in 2025.

And in the first month it was really only GOATcos and Cameron who consistently had a crack, many senior players still had full bellies - again this shouldnt be the case in 2025
