They were very optimistic supporters. Never saw much in him myself though, Pendles level is laughable.I'm still waiting for an explanation on Bianco being the next Pendlebury

Pies have improved their list in the off season, by adding Houston, Perryman, and to a lesser extent Membrey (whom we've been informed in this thread that our coach believes he's in our 'best 22'), after what was clearly a down year based on our 2022/23 performances. In 2023 you did. In 2024 even with a full season from Squibs you couldn't make the 8.
Who are the Pies depth players that would come in and fill the void? You can't honestly say Fin Macrae without being laughed out of here.
What are your thoughts on Fin Macrae? He getting a game in Carltons midfield? They were very optimistic supporters. Never saw much in him myself though, Pendles level is laughable.
Cripps is the heart and soul that holds the entireCollingwood would manage without Daicos far better than Carlton would manage without Cripps. Or Weitering, Or De Koning. Or Curnow.
Collingwood won a Qualifying Final without Daicos.
Carlton got humiliated in an Elimination Final without Curnow.
Definitely not. What are your thoughts on Fin Macrae? He getting a game in Carltons midfield?
You think Collingwood will contend if they're missing Nick Daicos?Pies have improved their list in the off season, by adding Houston, Perryman, and to a lesser extent Membrey (whom we've been informed in this thread that our coach believes he's in our 'best 22'), after what was clearly a down year based on our 2022/23 performances.
I expect the Pies will contend for the premiership. Again.
And will be far better than Carlton. Again.
Is he not playing at Collingwood in 2025?You think Collingwood will contend if they're missing Nick Daicos?
I'm just wondering about this mythical depth thats apparently so much better than Carltons? You should have no problem covering for Nicky in 2025 if you're so confident in them?Is he not playing at Collingwood in 2025?
Oh.I'm just wondering about this mythical depth thats apparently so much better than Carltons? You should have no problem covering for Nicky in 2025 if you're so confident in them?
I'm not delusional enough to think either team could cover losing their best midfielder for the year... But then again I never got lobotomized
You really are one special kenty FudgeOh.
I get it now.
You saw my post just now about predicting Collingwood to contend in 2025, and recalled some discussion about Daicos from the other day, and put the words 'Collingwood', 'contend' and 'Daicos' together to form the conclusion:
'You're deluded if you think Collingwood will contend if Daicos misses the season'.
Because that's how a pickled Carlton supporter's brain works.
You talking VFL, right? If Macrae, Long and McInnes were at Carlton, they'd be getting a game every week.
Can you now do that for:
1. The last 2 years;
2. The last 15 years;
3. The last 35 years;
4. Since the beginning of the competition.
Thanks in advance.
No he reckons Macrae and Long would get a game ahead of Cerra and Jagga and McInnes ahead of McKay or CurnowYou talking VFL, right?
No he reckons Macrae and Long would get a game ahead of Cerra and Jagga and McInnes ahead of McKay or Curnow
Oh.Can you now do that for the last 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80 years
Thanks in advance
Yeah, except I never said any of that.No he reckons Macrae and Long would get a game ahead of Cerra and Jagga and McInnes ahead of McKay or Curnow
Oh.
So Carlton have a 30 year window within the nearly 130 year history of the game when they won more flags than Collingwood?
That's cute.
But that means Collingwood have been far superior to Carlton across the other 100 years.
Including the most recent quarter of a century, where Collingwood have continued to be a powerhouse of the competition, whereas Carlton have fluctuated between being mediocre and completely shite.
Oh no.8 to 3 in 60 odd, 10 to 5 since WWII
Nah, powderpuffs, not powerhouse
Oh no.
Guess what?
I've just identified that it was just a 20 year period that Carlton outperformed Collingwood - 1968 to 1987.
So for OVER 100 years of the history of the Competition, Collingwood have owned Carlton.
Oh my.
What about the most recent 20 year period Fadge?Oh no.
Guess what?

Liar.
Also, you might want to see how Jagga performs at the level before saying he's better than any other current listed AFL player.
But it is interesting that you guys haven't pushed back on my positove comments about Jagga - is this one of the rare occasions that my assessment is accurate?
Huh????If Macrae, Long and McInnes were at Carlton, they'd be getting a game every week.
Yep, spot on, King. What about the most recent 20 year period Fadge?
How does Coll vs Carl records stack up from 2004-24?
By my count we’ve competed in 14 finals series to 6. We’ve won 18 finals to 4. Played in 6 GF’s to zero and won 2 premierships to nada. Carlton do have us covered with 4 wooden spoons to zero to the Pies.
That’s gotta hurt the Blue ballers.
Can you please address the above post. Who are Long, McInnes and Macrae displacing from Carltons side if they'd get a game every week?Yep, spot on, King.
They're the key metrics.
We could add top 4 finishes, Owen 60 Elimination Finals, etc. But that's just rats and mice.
Collingwood a powerhouse.
Bloosers are Ubershizen.
It's the jumpers.Someone from the Pies side please just explain how the f*** Macrae or Long are better players than Kennedy or Cerra???
Anybody. Please!
