No one was bringing up the fixture when Carlton were at the bottom getting harder fixtures than finalists. Everyone has found their voice suddenly. Funny that

It’s a fair question, why do Carlton have such a soft draw?
We get it, 30th anniversary next year but surely the AFL doesn’t want any to stack the deck this much?!
In the world according the Fadge and Corn Cobbers where he has assessed Carlton as the 15th best side in the league, and cobbers have us in a similar position, I would imagine that this fixture would be quite difficult if that was the casefox footy have rated the draw…

2019 - Carlton after finishing last in 2018 (with only 2 wins!!!) had a more difficult draw (based on Champion data rankings) than Richmond who made a prelim plus six other teams
2020 - Carlton's fixture was ranked 6th hardest despite finishing 16th in 2019, and this was harder than 7/8 of the top 8 teams from 2019
2021 - Carlton's fixture was again ranked as the 6th hardest despite finishing 11th (7-10 record) in 2020, and this was more difficult than 5 of the top 10 teams from 2020
Fadge has us 15th. He is never wrong

What a pack of whingers and it's only November.
It really is a beautiful thing.
Whilst they continue to be given these soft as butter draws, their ladder position at the end of the home and away season overstates their ability as a football club.
And whilst they continue to 'contend for finals', all is well at Blue Land.

He is 15th on the all time Brownlow list currently, and should crack top 10 next season. But he isn't in the top 100 of all time. Logic...

You should finish top of the ladder 4 games clear of everyone else. Then a straight sets finals exit awaits as you have to finally play other top 8 teams.
AFL may as well of fixtured VFL sides for Blose H&A points.
I'm still waiting for you to give me the Top 10 seasons by an individual of all time, if you think Cripps - courtesy of his 45 Brownlow votes - is up there...
