Where would wingers rank relative to the other players in the league?

Gulden - top 10 to 20?
J. Daicos - top 50 to 60?

D'Ambrosio was then mentioned - he has played a single great season where he finished 10th in Hawthorn's best and fairest?

Feel free to go ahead and name the best 10 wingers in the competition....
Do you ever answer a question lmao. Where does Acres rank amongst wingers in the league?

1996 to 2024 was a disapointing year for Carlton supporters - however the bright side is that some of the factors contributing are unlikely to repeat themselves ..I disagree with your interpretation of the meaning of the word another in the context it was used - but there is no need for people to suggest that Carlton suppporters need remedial English classes is there?

Another in the context of the post is better interpreted as meaning 3 more years of better performance at least is to be expected from this developing Carlton list and by the looks of the quality of youth that Club has invested in for the longer term - 3 years is conservative.

Cripps - 3 more years - easy
Hewett 2-3 years
Acres 2-3 years
Walsh Cerra 6 more
TDK 6 more
Smith 10
and then

Lord
2X Camporeles
HOK ( ruck in development)
+ 2X Hollands

Coming soon to terrorise you soon son of A Walker absolute gun already.

It is called depth and duration fellas.

As Carlton supporters I respect and have had great discussion with, I would love your opinion on something. A mate of mine asked me to do the best Carlton side I have seen playing in my time watching football. The team I have come up with so far is below. Any suggestions? Anyone I have forgotten? Any inclusions? Any omissions needed? Thanks in advance.

A.McKay Southby Silvagni

Doull Weitering Hunter

Koutifidies Williams Bradley

Johnston Kernahan Buckley

Gallagher Jesaulenko Ashman

Nicholls Cripps

Judd

Crane Fitzpatrick Walls Keogh Silvagni Snr
Out Gallagher in Walsh , not many players recent players in there though is there...

So now that we have seen finalised lists, fixtures etc let’s put it on the line. What is everyone’s prediction for the season once finals are completed?

I will go
Collingwood - Premiers
Carlton - 7th
Pies a lock for top 4 (hard to win a premiership no matter how good you are). Blues 4 to 8

Acres has been a superior performer to Perryman in recent seasons. And Hewett is definitely superior to Lipinski. I’d assume they’d be regarded as like for like? So based on that Perryman (on $700k/season) and Lipinskj are D+.

Try $900k+ Perryman. He attracted rd 1 compo.

So it's laughable that I refer to Hewett as a 'C Grader', but it's only 'highly likely' that he's best 22 for a mid table team?
Well we don't know whats going to happen with Hewett, he could be injured, could be out of form, could be playing a different role... Why would I speak in certainties if I don't know?

Fact is Hewett and Acres are absolutely nowhere near C graders. Both are quality players and have been for multiple years now.

Who's had a better career Fudger... Zac Williams or Dan McSpud?
Dan McStay, in the role he has played for both Brisbane and Collingwood, has been far better value than what Williams has returned for the $$$ invested in him by Carlton.

But let's wait until their respective careers are over before we make a final call, and I suspect Williams is closer to the end than McStay.

C Grade quality players, unless you think anyone who is a best 22 player on an AFL list is an A Grader...
