When are you getting to that remedial English class?

You know you have repeated this enough times now to enough people for it to be considered gaslighting.

There actually has been a response.

Fudger, you responded to a different poster and largely dismissed the facts presented in the post... As you always do.

As for remedial English classes? I'm not sure s***posting on BigFooty is really an accurate measure of ones ability 🤡

Absolutely nothing in the post was new information to me, hence there was no need for me to do anything other than:

A) Correct the omission of Lipinski's 6th place finish in the 2022 Copeland, and
B) Repeat my conclusion that they are both C Graders going into 2025.

Quite simply, maybe I'm a harsher marker than many others. Players I consider B Graders are:
Josh Daicos (pushing into A Grader status)
Brayden Maynard (perennial top 5 Copeland finisher and proven finals performer)
Jack Crisp (dual best and fairest and proven finals player)

They are behind Collingwood's A Graders - N. Daicos, D. Moore (though was down from this level in 2024), D. Houston, J. De Goey.

Walsh is out for 2-3 weeks. Daicos has an issue that can last years if its a bad case.

do you think Naicos's injury cloud alters the likely outlook for Collingwood ? Have the market odds changed what does this all say about probability - so many questions....

Fudgee thoughts?

Daics snr ruined the peak of his career by spending too much time on his feet, hopefully junior can learn that lesson a bit more quickly

Its a shyte injury to have to carry - a bit like Walshy and his back - except Carlton supporters are gracious and sportmanslike enough to not BS about "injooreez dun matta" - which is inury trolling ...

Seriously all the best to the kid - one of the most entertianing players to watch in the game. He should be fine in time.

Some Pies fans first reactions to the Walsh news was that they hoped Cripps goes down too. Shameless that mob of ferals.

yeah but 'some' is always a minority in any Club ...I like the no injury trolling rule on BF and I dont like how some 'expert' posters weazle word their way around it...

"injooreeez dun matta"

what a load of BS.

Pies steady at $10, though Daics has drifted slightly to $7 for the Brownlow

Despite Walsh, Blues firm into outright third favourite $9.5

In his last three seasons, Lipinski has actually finished 6th in the 2022 Copeland (the Richmond poster overlooked that), played in a premiership in 2023, and finished 7th in the 2024 Copeland.

Still think he's a C-Grader, but improving with each year he's at the Pies (and 2.5 years younger than Hewett), after being a fringe player as a youngster in a strong Bulldogs midfield.

It's a line ball about who I'd prefer to go into 2025 with - and comes down to a team's needs.

Apologies … 6th in 2022 B&F was an oversight.

Just not sure Lipinski is improving?

Here is his 2022/23/24 data:

Disposals: 22.0 / 17.8 / 17.5
Goals and GA: 1.0 / 1.3 / 1.0
I50: 3.2 / 2.8 / 2.3
Clearances: 3.1 / 2.0 / 1.8
R50: 1.7 / 1.1 / 1.0
Tackles: 3.7 / 3.4 / 3.1
CP: 8.04 / 6.86 / 6.48
SI: 5.7 / 4.4 / 4.7
Pressure acts: 21.5 / 16.1 / 15.2

He had more midfield time in 2022 with 7.7 CBA, compared to 0.9 in 2023 and 1.4 in 2024.

He’s 26yo and a handy player, but there’s not heaps to suggest he’s going to spike a better than average season any time soon as has been done multiple times by Hewett.

If Lipinski has a career best year and Hewett has his worst season they’ll be on about par.

If they both produce what they’ve done the last 3 x seasons Hewett will remain a clearly superior player.

Albeit they do play slightly different roles and it is harder to accumulate awards and votes if not getting as many midfield minutes, so I’ll acknowledge that when comparing the two.

I think it’s too hard with just A, B, C etc….

Hewett = B-
J Daicos = B+
Maynard = B
Lipinski = C
Crisp = B+

Throws out ludicrous comments like Hewett and Lipinski are similar level players and that Cox has had a better career than Walsh...

Then has a melt when people call him out for being an peanut

Mr Rogers Clown GIF
Yeah, sorry.

I really did lose my shit earlier when another poster exposed me as a peanut because I rated Hewett as a C Grader whilst they rated him a B-

Apologies everyone.
