Sydney if they keep their full team on the park. Mick's comments about them being the deepest list ever were silly. Really vulnerable to only a few players out. Hawks have the least potential variance in performance.
Mick was trolling. Just part of his narrative that Sydney get unfair concessions.

Only two years ago he said Sydney weren't worthy of top two.

We beat them just in round 17 and haven't lose to them since 2011. We've won 9 in a row.

Would've thought we have a very good chance. We'd lose the week after obviously.

You're not playing them at the MCG though, and if I recall, they had no KPD stocks that day. They are playing much better footy since then too.

And for the record, Geelong had beaten them 10 strait before this year which was was back in 2007.

Richmond will have to play a lot better than they did against Sydney to knock off Port at home.

You beat us in round 17 because we had no Carlile, Trengove, Monfries and Neade. We were playing players like Sam gray and Kane Mitchell (rookie listed players) and playing at a stadium we always have trouble with. Also was going through a form slump. Now we are full strength playing in a final at home. Won't be as easy as it was in round 17
Um...none of these guys are anything special, Monfries is decent tho

Certainly one of those years when whoever wins, its an incredible story. Let the games begin!

Sydney - Buddy's 3rd flag and Buddy trade a genius move, McGlynn finally gets his flag, a dominant Sydney flag, 3 in 10 years and 2 in 3, winning from 1-3 and GWS opening loss
Hawthorn - back to back despite injury crisis throughout season, match Geelong in recent times, Spangher narrative
Geelong - 4th flag in 8 years, with some players winning their 4th.
Freo - 1st flag, Lyon & Pavlich flag, enough said
Port - exciting and likeable football, amazing turnaround from 2011-12
North - we all know their list is capable, from 6th would be unprecedented in modern era
Essendon - ASADA controversy, boy oh boy wowee, defiant, 3rd Mark Thompson flag
Richmond - EVERYTHING

A 16-6 top 4, particularly in a year without easy beats, also means this is a strong year to be a flag winner.

Hope Sydney don't. Would like Essendon to.

It will go:
Sydney def Fremantle
Hawthorn def Geelong
Essendon def North
Port def Richmond

Freo vs Essendon?
Geelong vs Port?

Freo and Port win.

Freo vs Hawks
Geelong vs Swans

Hawks and Cats win
How do the Cats lose in straight sets and still make the prelims AND the grand final. You screwed up hahaha

The top 4 sides all won against each other at home this season. It's even as hell - home finals are rolled gold and luck will play a big part.

Geelong is the only top 4 side that really smashed their opposition this weekend. (Hawks won by 10-11 goals but Collingwood, according to manpower available, should have lost by 100+)

Who will stop Richmond? Honestly. They're pumped with adrenaline. Probably have a top four list and are finally playing like it. Wouldn't be surprised if we saw the grand final preview yesterday.
Have you not been paying attention for the last 30 years?

Richmond will stop Richmond.
