Its growing, not declining.
Tell me, do you still need someone to tuck you in, check the closet for monsters?

There are 68.35 million people in Britain. In order for Islam to become the dominant ideology of the place, they'd need to take from no-where except Islamic nations and bring in an additional 64 million people.

Just to clarify, that'd be around 3% of the total world population of Muslims being moved to a tiny ****ing island that is arguably pretty dense people wise in the first place.

This is very, very stupid. How terrifying the world must be to you, to be so scared of shadows and dreams?

Am I claiming this will happen over night?

It doesn’t have to be a “majority” to have a huge impact on the country

I'm also a little confused. Why are we worried about Britain again?

They're on the other side of the ****ing world and the king hasn't converted to Islam. Of what relevance is the ongoing obviously pervasive and pantswettingly terrifying incremental advance of Islam in Britain to us here, in Australia?

... less than 10%?

You're worried about less than 10% of school children, a percentage of which will abandon their religion - because the funny thing about repression, it breeds rebellion - in favour of fitting in?

**** me. This is really, really dumb.
You're missing the self fulfilling attempts in the prophecies.

If you can whip up enough Islamophobia for regular discrimination and vilification and create enough pressure to pass discriminatory laws, you can get yourself a marginalised discriminated against community banding together in opposition to the government. And then become increasingly certain of your prophecy.

Why are people asked to swear to God in our courts of law?

Oaths and affirmations

Oaths

An oath is a verbal promise to tell the truth. Oaths are frequently made while holding the Bible, the New Testament or the Old Testament. Witnesses may choose to swear an oath on another relevant religious text. It is not necessary that a religious text be used in taking an oath.
Oaths may be taken by individuals, or by two or more people at the same time.
For a witness appearing in court, the form of oath taken is generally as follows:
"I swear (or the person taking the oath may promise) by Almighty God (or the person may name a god recognised by his or her religion) that the evidence I shall give will be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth."
There is a separate oath for people who act as an interpreter in court. If this applies to you, the form of the oath for interpreters in court can be found at Schedule 1 to the Evidence Act 2008.

Absence of religious belief

If an oath has been properly administered and taken, the fact that the person to whom the oath was administered had no religious beliefs at that time does not affect the validity of the oath.

So if you don’t believe in any god, can you simply omit references to any deity? And what do you hold when giving your oath?

I'm just finding it amusing that Australia has the largest Muslim country via population on its doorstep and its never raised as a serious threat from invasion, assimilation and what not.

In fact Aussies and immigrants like myself love going to one of its islands admittedly a bhuddist island.

But, no victim is going to come to us and ask for help, if we pursue this fear and anger towards the Muslim people.
Good principle. This thread also makes it feel like much of society has learned nothing about what radicalises people over the past 25 years. Treating people like garbage is more likely to make them act like garbage.

Their religious expectations can make them unable to make "choices"
You said a doctor shouldn't contravene the wishes of someone with a DNR card because the doctor thinks they know better. But couldn't the doctor equally say that the card holder's expectations can make them unable to make the right choices? The doctor might believe that they're doing the card holder a favour, because from their perspective life is sacred and those who give up on it can't enter the Kingdom of God.

Good try. Laughable comparison.

How does having a 3rd world Muslim country separated by water have anything to do with assimilation? As for invasion sorry but why would that be a worry?

Your trying to compare women who are part of one of the most oppressive religions in the world towards females feeling comfortable to challenge their husband (of which they may share with 3 other women) and bypass a court as to which is the only one that may actually recognize their "marriage". The women may have never learnt about Western options due to education via Islamic schools.

Some how that's the same as a DNR that all westerners can openly choose to use in private.

They also may have. They're not all uneducated and oppressed. Plenty of Muslims have been here for over a generation and have children born and raised here who have reached adulthood. People learn things in that time.

And even if they are uneducated and oppressed, what's your solution to this? Perhaps free legal advice to those about to go to a sharia authority for resolving a civil matter, to let them know they have other options? Or do you have a different solution in mind?

I didn't say it's the same. I'm using an analogy to show that the logic you're applying is inconsistent between the two situations.

Your argument is laughably dishonest or completely nuts.

You don't want Australia to allow Islamic people to migrate to Australia as refugees as you're concerned that Australia will become too dangerous for Islamic women due to a potential rise in Sharia councils in Australia?
